Can you believe after all this time I still get Nausea
from time to time its really just morning time I took my prenatal vitamin after breakfast which was a mistake
it just makes you sick even with a full stomach, I usually
take it at night....How is your M/S doing I usually take spearmint lafesavers which works for me or have a cold popcycle that works too..the Ginger cookie thing did not work for me it made me more sick...

Lili, the C-section was not that bad for me I started walking around that night and never sat down once after that even though the nurses told me to rest ...
I recovered rather quickly you are sore for awhile after..

Hey I have the saliva problem too maybe we should all have a spitting contest...LOL just kidding ...

hey that is great then having a c-section after all is not a bad thing. I was just wondering you never know what can happen during the time of labor and I just want to be prepared for anything. Which I really wish that I can have my baby normal like my first time but like I said you never know and I was told that it hurts so bad that you can barely walk and it is sore for months.

hey isn't that funny but I guess common in all pregnancy about the spitting..lol I know my dh gets mad when I am spitting all over he doesn't like that but hey what can I do. My mom had a really bad problem with that when she was pregnant with me and my brothers. I guess it is all normal. But i sure is funny about that spitting contest..lol

Are you still getting thse nauseas? I know I always take my prenatals at night before I go to bed and I have not had any problems.

Good morning all!!!
I am only going to keep the doppler until the baby starts moving around and kicking. Then I really do not think that I will need it anymore.
I made green beans with ham and potatos last night. it was soooooooo good. I used the green beans i canned from the garden this year. I tell yah there is nothing like home grown green beans.
We are leaving tomorrow with my mom and brother and sis in law for the WI Dells. We will not be back until Monday. I am so ready for this mini vacation. I have not been on a vacation since last October when we went to Cancun. That was a lot of fun but I am ready for another whole week off not just a couple of days here and there. Well I suppose in March I will have 6 weeks straight off!! And a wonderful reason why too!! So what is everyone else doing over the Labor Day weekend?

Just letting you all know that I got a responce back from the seller of ebay about those dropplers and she said they all are brand new and some are for a cheap price. I will make a bid on one of them and hope that I win it. I can't wait to get one. it is a great deal. I will let you know if I get it or not.

Hey sounds like a nice mini vacation that is nice that you are doing atleast something. We were planning to go to our friends house and go fishing but since it gets hotter up there I am not sure about going. I think dh just want to stay at home and rest, well see what we do.
So are you planning to take 6 weeks off from work after having your baby?

How is everyone doing? wow we are in the middle of the week and 2 more days for the weekend. That is great a 3 day weekend..YAY!!

I have a questions for all of you. Well yesturday and today I have notice when I am sitting here in my small office where it is very hot with no a/c, well I notice something weired in my chest like if I nede some air just like if I am suffocating. I hope thta it is nothing bad, 2 days now that I am feeling like that and want your opinion could it be normal or something bad? well your feedback will be appreciate it. I know it is very hot here in California and this ot weather might be the cause but who knows.

That happens to me I think its just the weight of your tummy for me I know it makes me short of breath what I do for it is sit up straight in a chair moves my legs apart and lean forward as far as I can and it helps me be able to take a deep breath, I think its just the weight of the tummy I hear it can get worse, just keep saying we only have 3 more months, WE CAN DO IT!

Hi Renee, ya I still get it from time to time if I don't eat and my tummy is empty I get Nausea.or sometimes my vitamins make me sick but I am sure to take them at night only...I really had M/S from 6 weeks till about 15 weeks then it slowly went away, When I was pregnant with my daughter the Nausea started around 3.5mths and lasted only 2 weeks this time around it lasted for about 2 mths it was horrible..Just give it some time and it will go away! I just loved those spearmint lifesavers they really worked for me, and a nice cold popcycle helped too...you can take Tums too its good for Calcium as well....Hope your feeling better!

Hey girls I was searching the website for those heartbeat monitors on ebay like Mickey suggested and they are cheap, but on one of them when I was reading the information it said that I have to be an authorized purchaser. I don't know what this might be but I send those people an email and hope they respond back to me. They are actually very close to where I live so I might just give them a call and talk to them directly. I think it is a good deal since they are cheap on ebay. I will keep you posted. I know we are always looking forward to hear our baby's hearbeat at our doctor's appointment that seem forever.

from my understanding you must get a prescription because it is considered a class two medical device or some such thing. I can't imagine that your dr would have a problem prescribing it, and i can't imagine all of the sellers would check. just a thought.

well with all the extra things your body is doing i'm sure its gonna be harder to keep your core temp normal. i would suggest a ac unit and lots of water

Hi everyone,

A quick question, have any of you had any spotting during your pregnancy? DH & I had sex yesterday morning and I've had spotting since. I'm going to call my OBN this morning as it has become red. Yesterday it was brown and very slight (TMI I know).

I've consulted my pregnancy books and looked online but about half of the times people say unless you have cramping (which I don't) then it's okay. Others say any bleeding is of concern.

Thanks for your advice girl. I did contact the seller on ebay and she said that they don't request a certificate, she said that ebay has to wriet that down since like you said it is something that doctors use or students, she did suggested to consult my doctor regarding that but I am sure it is ok. ofcourse I will not miss any of my appointments at my doctor if I do get one of those monitors. But well see I still have like 15 mins and I am bidding at $104.50 hope I don't get any other bidders so that the price won't go higher. I think this is a good price though.

Thanks for the advice as every other women I do worry about all those different signs you get during your pregnancy and pray they are just normal.
But yeah it is not a good feeling but I will try to stay cool and yes I am drinking lots of water.

I hope that everything is ok. But last year which ended up in a m/c I had some brown spotting every time I would wipe I would see that and I did get scared when I went to the doctor she said it was all normal. But like I said it ended up in a m/c and then that is when the doctor said that maybe that spotting was the problem of something going wrong and ended up in a m/c. So I would check with the doctor just to make sure.
Byt he way that time I didn't even bd so i couldn't blame it from bd'ing.
But they suggest you to wait and bd until you are pass 3 months pregnant since those first months are the most risky ones.

Ladies just letting you know that I already bought the heartbeat monitor at $104.50 new.

Thanks Lili. I just spoke to my dr who says that the spotting is from bd'ing because more blood is directed to your cervix in pregnancy and can be damaged easily. She expects me to spot today & tomorrow but says that she's not concerned as long as I'm not cramping. If it gets heavy I have to contact them straight away. I am praying that it stops soon.

That is good. Are you still spotting today? well I hope that it is nothing to be concern of. Just try to be careful and try to avoid bd'ing for now until you are pass those risky months.

Hi ladies, how is every one. I think I'm starting to feel a little better. I hope so. It would be nice to have a nice long weekend without getting sick. I have a ob appt on wed. I hope he can tell the sex?? I have heard you can see at 12 weeks then I heard 15 weeks or more? Maybe its if the baby is laying just right?
