Thanks so much for the helpful info!! I think that it is probably just part of my cycle- I can remember times when I have been drier than others, but this is sort of thick and tacky (TMI, I know)...and it caught me off-guard. Anyway, thanks for the info!

Hey Jackie,

I am also Jewish and going through this process ( I think i posted my first message on page 20 or 21). Trying to make heads or tails of it myself. I am also a Social Worker and work with little children everyday. It's not easy holding onto your faith in G-d when your prayers are not being answered at this time. Like all the other women here we just have to hold on to the belief that G-d has a plan for all of us. I've read somewhere that in order to be a true follower of the Jewish faith one has to give up all control of fate/destiny to G-d. That has not been something I have been able to do (I am a complete control freak) but every night I thank G-d for the things he has given me and hope that he continues to bless me with his favor.

Also I was thinking of changing to the FertilityBlend does anyone know if that delays your cycles like this, too. I know that I need to be patient and everything. But it just feels like I am going backwards. I go from having a normal 28 day cycle to one that is all over the place. But maybe that is what they want is for all of us to relax and let it happen when it is going to happens, and for us not to stress and be like- I have to take my temperature and we have to hav sex on this day.( ha ha that is NOT me all!)

I've been reading all of your posts for the last few months. I am now on my fourth bottle of ovulex. My period has not changed. The only strange thing that happened last month was that my cycle lasted only 22 days. Without the ovulex, I was always 28 with the ovulex I have been 27 days. I am wondering on whether to start taking the geritol tonic. I don't know if I should keep on taking the ovulex and stop the pre-natals. I hope someone could give me their opinion.

Have a good 4th of July. Baby dust to all!

Mist - July 3rd, 2006 9:13 PM

I started spotting today, I am hoping that means things are kicking in..
I have had back pain for three or four days It may have been contributed to that, I guess? I baught Geritol Tonic last night and having been taking it, ewwwwww its so nasty how do you all take it? I mixed mine with apple juice but I still can taste it pretty bad :( I also started drinking green tea and its awful too. I am such a baby at this stuff!

hhmm wish this stuff made you undepressed, one could only wish hmmmmmm

Well God Bless You All,

Have an Awesome 4th of July,

Mist

Mist,

I started taking the geritol tonic with my ovulex a few days ago. I take it like a shot with a chaser of a TON of water! Sometimes I drink it right before my green tea and that takes away the taste...although you don't care for that either...have you tried a little honey in your green tea? I've done that sometimes, and I enjoy it! Hope that helps!

Have a great 4th everyone!

What is the regimen that everyone is following with the geritol?? I bought some but haven't started taking it yet because I wasn't sure when I should...

Mist - July 4th, 2006 9:53 AM

Thanks for the Advice Steph, I will have to take mine with something or I would pass out! LOL But yeah I do take my tea with honey which help a little bit ;)

Amber I am not sure I only take a half of what they tell you to because I take so many vitamins and Meds. I take a thyroid pill, Met x2, Juice Plus Vegtables capsule x2, Juice Plus Fruit capsule x2, Prenatal, Folic Acid, and of course Ovulex I also have added the green tea drinking and started the geritol tonic.

And yesterday I started spotting so far today I don't see a thing ???

jackie - July 4th, 2006 9:56 AM

thanks Honey,

BTW maybe you will be my guinea pig. My doc said if you have bad morning sickness as I have, you take vitamin b6 25mg and unisom tablet together. Take it 4 times per day. You will feel a little sleepy but it's better than feeling sick. I never got to try it but perhaps you will. There's also something called morning sickness magic by baby's bliss if you don't wanna take unisom. Lemme know

Mist - July 4th, 2006 1:29 PM

oops sorry to keep posting but I have a question!

Can Ovulex make you go 'Wee" more often? I am serious all day long seem like every 30 - 45 min I am going to the bathroom. I never started timing it till I noticed I was going on the time. Anyone else have an effect like this? Also my back is hurting. I dunno???

God Bless You ALL,

Mist

Sarah Rose - July 4th, 2006 5:57 PM

Mist-

I am one Ovulex and starting taking it two monthes ago. I also bought some Geritol tonic the other day to try it but I noticed after I bought it that all that is in it is B vitamins that you probably all ready get in your veggie pill? And 100% of your daily iron which you probably are getting in your prenatal. And it is not good to get to much iron because you can overdose on it and that is not good either. That is the reason that I have not started taking it to, because I take a prenatal and a B- complex vitamin. But I also think that having to much of a good thing can be a bad thing. Hope this helps maybe?

Mist - July 4th, 2006 6:19 PM

Sarah,

I was thinking that too. I think I will just let the hubby take the gertiol then. I was a little worried about it! Thanks for giving your opinion it really means a lot when I ask for help!

God Bless You,

Mist

Hey all! Happy 4th of July!!

I've been out of town for the last few days, taking ovulex all the while. Anyone notice weird twingy pains in the uterus, kind of like crampy pains but to a lesser degree? These weird pains started on I think the 4th day of taking ovulex, and they have gotten better, but I still have them every now and then in the middle, or on the side. At first I thought it might be ovulation, but it's too soon after af for that, especially if ovulex is supposed to lengthen the cycle. I've noticed that I have tender bb's as well. Did anyone experience anything like this? Just wondering if it's normal.

Thanks everyone for being supportive, and thanks sammy, i'll be emailing you soon to tap into your research!

Baby dust to everyone, happy 4th!!

Juel

sammy71 - July 4th, 2006 8:27 PM

Hey Mist,
the Ovulex has an ingredients that is a diaretic so you will pee a whole lot more...not to mention you are suppose to drink more which will also make you.

Juel,
I had all those same symptoms the first month. The cramping in the uterus lasted about two weeks. My BBs got tender close to AF.

Hope that helps. Baby Dust, Sammy

Mist - July 4th, 2006 8:49 PM
