Hey guys- good mroning, baby dust girls-

I have a quick question about ovulex and prenatal vitamins. I read an article (which I have tried in vain to find again) that said something about not taking prenatal vitamins alongside a fertility aid.

I have also read lots of other stuff that suggests it, so I was just wondering...How many of you girls on Ovulex are taking prenatals with it?

Awaiting your comments... ;)

And of course, baby dust to all! ;D

Hi Ambersparkle,
I am taking both ovulex and prenatal care vitamins, no side effects been taking both since 27th may. Hopes this helps and Baby Dust to ALL!!!

Ambersparkle,

I took prenantal vitamins with my Ovulex and I got my BFP last Friday!! WooHoo.

I think you should take them with Ovulex because I don't recall Ovulex saying that it's bad and on top of that it is very very important that you receive the best nutrition to make your body a perfect home for your baby!

Hope that helps!

~Honey~

I think the only one that I read that said you didn't need to take a prenatal with was fertilaid because it contains all the vitamins and minerals you need that is in a prenatal. I am taking a prenatal and awaiting my ovulex to arrive, so I will be taking both together. From all that I read, you need to take the prenatal to get ready for pregnancy as well as if you get pregnant.

Never give up, good luck to everyone!!

I'm not taking them but know I should. Last time I took them I got sooooo nausead that I couldn't get through the day. Now I just take a multi-vitamin that has folic acid.

Hello Ladies,
21 days late! I haven't tested again yet though. I'm afraid of a bfn. Normally I'm supposed to be ovulating this weekend, and instead i'm still wondering. I've had some light nausea over the weekend, particularly in the evenings. Not sure if it's just what i ate or what? I wonder if it's the prenatal vitamins?

Hi everyone!

May I join your board? I am 23 y/o and DH and I have been trying to conceive for about 9 months now. I have been taking Ovulex for about a month now, and I was wondering if anyone else had experienced spotting while on Ovulex? I was at first very excited because I was spotting around the time that implantation bleeding would occur. However, I've tested twice and got bfn's and now it's CD 31 and I'm spotting again. Has anyone had this kind of experience with Ovulex? Any feedback would be much appreciated, because I have no idea what's going on!

Hi Everyone. I am a newbie to the site. I have read all of the boards and found them to be very inspiring. I am 27, hubbie is 29. Been ttc for 1.5 yrs. Diagnosed with unexplained infertility. Tests have shown all is well. I know this is a board for those on ovulex but I just recently started Clomid and want to stick with that for a while. I just went to my RE this morning and we saw three follicles growing. I will be going back tomorrow so that they can give me an HCG shot so that I can ovulate (even though I ovulate regularly). I am very excited and am getting ready for another 2ww. Want to wish all of you lots of luck and babydust.

StephMalkowski,

You should test right away. I was 15days late and I got my BFP on the 16th day. We're praying for you as well as everyone else. :) I also had some nausea this past weekend at about 11:30pm both nights.

I think you and Sammy are Preggo! LOL :)

We will see. If AF comes it just gives you another chance to DB! LOL I know it's a pain with the waiting game.

God Bless and Baby Dust!

I love those adorable tickers so here is my attempt at putting one in. Let's see if it works.

Oh boy. I thought it looked way to easy. Before I keep posting these tries does anyone have an idea what I might have done wrong. Thanks for the help.

One more try.

you all think i should test again even if i got a neg. when i was 12 days late? if i were wouldn't it have shown then?

sammy71 - June 26th, 2006 6:09 PM

Steph,
I read that it could take up to 19DPO before you get a positive. One lady I read about said she didn't test BFP until she was 3 months pregnant. It's worth a shot.

As for me, I started spotting today. Not enough for a panty liner but enough to be disappointed. Today is CD31 and the day I should get my AF it is was to come. I'm still experiencing EXTREME heartburn with burning in my throat, nausea, tender BBs etc.

I'm trying not to be too upset and I did read that "spotting" and "bleeding" can occur on the first day of your missed period and off and on for the first three month of pregnancy but more than likely it means AF is coming. :(

Baby Dust to all. Sammy
