I'm with you all. If I may ask...does anyone know about an FSH test. I know what it stands for of course follicle stimulating hormone. I'm on day 12 of my cycle tomorrow. If I do it tomorrow will they be able to tell if my problem is hormonal imbalance? I work in the hospital but I never familiarized myself with the tests which is stupid but I didn't. My md wanted me to walk to the lab and ask them to do it but without a requistion slip from him of course they won't do it. I work in the same place he does but he was at another site today. He said he'd give me the requsition tomorrow. I feel almost premenstrual. How long did it take all of you guys before ovulex changed your cycle? I called the company told someone named Jennifer I'd been taking it for a month and she said that that wasn't enough time. I'm waiting for my cycle to lengthen out and for my ovulation to lengthen. I've been emailing another site in Israel to try to get more information about something called LCA that they use there. Don't know if it's available here. He did say that natural remedies can take 3 months before they start to lengthen the cycle. It feels so good to talk about all this. Thank you again for being here.

Oh Jackie,

Ovulex did not help my cycle. I jumped started it with Provera. I thought after I did that it would come on the next time with out jumping starting it but it didn't.

I actually talked to a lady and she told me Ovulex don't regulate your menstrual cycle just your ovulation cycle. I made no comment and said thank you have a nice day.

I been on Ovulex Since Oct. 14, 2005 and went on a break from it in Dec. only because I thought I could have been you know what.

Hi everyone!

My AF stopped yesterday and hasn't came back! I had it for a day and a half. I usually have it for 4 days. I don't know what is going on. I have been feeling a little bit better. I have felt off and on a bit nausea but, was never sick again since last Wed. when I throw up.

Oh well I'll have to wait and see what goes on! I don't know if my body is just playing tricks on me!

Hello Ladies,

I hope everyone had happy holiday's I know I did.

Welcome to all the Newbies, sorry I haven't been on in awhile, between other projects and finals- I don't have nothing coming. I have been up for 48 hours officially- working on everything I could think of and is still going strong. Surprisingly, not tired and haven't became victim to the taunting of caffiene.

Dorothy - I noticed you stated that you are not noticing cm - are you drinking green tea with it?

Jackie- I don't have pronounced pms with Ovulex, I have pronounced cramping and my last af was 2 days and completely disappeared into thin air. Then I recently had spotting and overwhelming cramping for like 2 hours(lol) What cruel jokes mother nature plays!!

I am not sure if I have posted this in the past, but my email is [email protected]
This information is open to the Sisterhood and I am here anytime that you need me. My aol instant messenger ID is: tastefest22 so feel free to add me if you want to chat.

I spend like 50,000 hours a day on the Internet - so drop a line. Well sisters, I will talk to you later and I hope that you wake up with a refreshed mind, good spiritual motivation and a smile.

BabyDust to you all - I will hold you in my heart and my prayers!!

Mahogany Heart,

What a cruel thing for them to do!!! I thought it lengthened out your ovulation cycle and therefore your menstrual cycle. If you ovulate later you will get your period later. Or so I thought. My problem is not that I don't get my period. I get it too soon. 26 or 25 days is too short a cycle. If it did nothing for you does that mean it is a hoax?? Did it do anything for you at all )-:?? If it doesn't I might as well stop taking it and get my money back. Did you get yours back?

jackie - January 4

Thank you Shara. I will try to contact you later.

Jackie Since being off BC my AF has been anyway from 29-32 days. Ovulex hasn't put my on a 28 days cycle. I ahve been taking it for a little over a month. I know so ladies it did shorten their long cycle. I'm not sure if it can do the opposite ( lengthen your's). My O time did last longer last month. I'd wait a little bit if I were u. Their has been a lot of girls of this website who got PG for ovulex. I'm don't remenber the # but, I think at least 3 or 4.

My AF never di come back. It was only a day and a half! It is usually about 4 days!

Yesterday I called a healer and make an appointment for Feb.19, that's when he will be in Windsor. My friend took her about him, a girl she work want to see him (she had breast cancer). She went 3 times and when the DC's look to see it again before they to surgury the couldn't find it. They look for 2 hours. So I read the article on the healer, he also helps with infertility. I thought it wouldn't hurt!

Monica - January 4

Greetings Everyone,

My name is Monica and I am new to the board. I have been reading your posts for the last couple of weeks now, and I have found that this particular group is one of the nicest, most God-fearing group of ladies that I have seen in a long time in regards to a general forum. I can tell that the support here is truly genuine, and I would love to be a part of your sisterhood.

A little bit about me - I have had 3 pregnancies. The first resulted in a miscarriage, and the next 2 pregnancies are the children that I have now. A girl 11, and a boy 9. At that time, I was in a really bad marriage...and said that I NEVER wanted children again; so when my doctor told me that my tubes were somewhat damaged after my 2nd child, I really didn't care because I thought that I was finished with the whole pregnancy journey anyways.... Well since then, I remarried about a year ago to my God-ordained soulmate, and we now want children. I have recently gone back to the doctor and was told that my tubes had been healed & restored (truly a miracle from above), so we have been trying to conceive naturally since October. I have been taking Ovulex since November 1st, and have also been taking pre-natal vitamins, green tea....and this month I started using Pre-seed. I KNOW that my miracle is on its way because I have the faith for it, so I would love to join in with the sisterhood as we all await our perfect gifts. Much love & baby dust to you all!

I would like to pledge & join the sisterhood. What will I need to do?

Sincerely,
Monica

Faith76 - January 4

Hey Sarah,

So...you haven't gotten your period yet? Well, I hope it's because there's a BFP waiting for you! I see you've been on Ovulex for 3 months....yes, it's about time you get your BFP :D! I'm crossing my fingers for you....BEST WISHES! In two days, it'll make a month since I've been on Ovulex. I can't wait to get my BFP. For now, I'll be patient and keep the faith! ::)

Baby Dust to all TTC! ;)

jackie - January 4

Hey Sarah,
Glad you're alright. I suppose you've tested so you know if you have a BFP. If not, your md can get your cycle going. Monica, good to know you. I'm glad I'm not the only one. I'm 40. How old are you? I'm on Ovulex one month and so far it has not done much for me. They say it can take 60-90 days but I didn't know that before. I got some blood tests ordered today but I found out that my md took my FSH at the wrong time in my cycle. He has to take it in day 3. I'm on day 13. It won't show anything. He also has to take an estradiol level. I also found out that my insurance will cover NOTHING in terms of infertility. Not the MD not the meds...nothing. If I'm perimenopausal they can't do much for me anyway. I'm gonna ask my rabbi if I can resume intimacy earlier than 13 days into the cycle. I just want to know what the problem is already. They say Clomid can lengthen a short cycle but I"m afraid to take Clomid. Has anyone here taken it? I'm trying not to be depressed. As the song goes "I am older now. I have more than what I wanted but I wish that I had started long before I did". Anyone know the song (-:? Anyway, G-d has blessed me so much that I have to remember that and not be depressed. We've all been blessed and I feel sure we will be more so.

Mahogany Heart - January 4

Oh Jackie,

No I don't think its a hoax I believe it is a mighty good product. I really love it. I only have good things to say about it. It just don't work cycle wise for me and maybe if I wasn't on a time limit it might have brought it on. Clomid is a good product as well. I got pregnant on it after about 10 years in 2004 and you all know what happened. The only thing is I hate the side effects. I hate the way it makes me feel around OV, the dry Cm and the blurred vision. I take it at 6:30 pm and by the time the blurred vision come in, I'm sleep. Clomid does give me a regular cycle three months after last treatment. Which is a good thing. When I got you know what 2004 I was taking Clomid every other month and drinking decaf green tea. I started the Clomid in May, pregnant in August and surgery in Sept.

Sarah,

Glad to see you back so don't leave like that again girl. You were very well missed.
