I must be totally hormonal today. I just gorged myself on Godivas with tears in my eyes reading what you all are writing. I spent $11 on four freakin' pieces of chocolate... what a mess I am. LOL But the chocolate raspberry cups just looked sooooo good. I couldn't resist.

Do any of you find that the Ovulex makes your body more sensitive to certain foods? I just ate seafood for lunch and before the meal was even over I had to rush to the bathroom for a yucky #2. I'm wondering if it's the Ovulex.

Baby dust to all.

MaggiesMom,
My first week or so on ovulex it upseted my tummy, as for now everything is fine, other than the BFN I'm okay.

Hey everyone! How is everything going? I'm 2 dpo and having some ovulation symptoms so far. Not sure if we have a great chance this month or not, so I guess I'll find out, I won't test until AF is due (7/31).

Lili~ It took a few days for my temperature to rise after I got my opk. If you don't get a rise in a few days, I would keep using opks just in case you still have to ovulate.

MaggiesMom~ My stomach was kind of bothered while I was first on Ovulex, but it went away. With mine it seemed like I just had to go #2 all the time! Sorry TMI. Hopefully it gets better for you.

Good luck to everyone, I hope everyone is having a great day. The heat index here is like 110 or something...it feels like a furnace outside. :(

I asked the lady from the okp company about testing the day after a + opk and she told me the line would be lighter the nexy day, if you have already recieved a +.

Hope this help.

I'm really cramping bad on my left side, hope this just means I'm O.

Renee

ECarroll~ I am so sorry. Just take a deep breath and keep the faith. Take heart in knowing that we all share in your pain. Keep us updated!

MaggiesMom~
I also had an aggrevated stomach for the first week and a half that I was on Ovulex. I had some bad diharrea and nausea for a while, but after your body gets more used to the pill it will go away.

I am hormonal today too. I have no idea why- I just randomly started crying and I have felt really sad today...

I think that the problem is that I don't even know where I stand. Like a lot of you ladies have specifics on your cycle that I just don't have- like cds, +Os, and temps...I am just so frustrated. I started Ovulex on June 23rd and still no AF, though I did have some cramping this week. I thought for sure that AF was coming; but nothing! I don't know- I'm just so frustrated. Anyone with irregular cycles ever feel this way or am I crazy???

I actually took that medication before my first pregnancy 2 years ago. I forgot what is exactly for, but I'll find out and let you know.

Morning Ladies,
How are you all? I'm okay taking one day at a time, keeping the Faith and understanding that God does everything in His timing. Well laides have a great day, and Baby Dust To ALL!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

MaggiesMom - July 20

Mornin' right back at 'ya, ECARROLL.

Rough night for me last night. I had heartburn so I had to sit up for a few hours until it settled down. I don't know what I'll do when I get pregnant and get heartburn regularly (I have a hiatal hernia). It's absolutely miserable.

I hate feeling like I'm in limbo all the time. While I was sitting up last night I read the packet from the fertility clinic. So much to know, so much to consider. I'm not sure just how far I'm willing to go for a baby. Some of it just seems so darned unnatural.

I'm rambling, so I'll go. Baby dust to all!

Happy Thursday, Ladies and ......well....LADIES!

Maggiesmom: I know what you mean about Godiva. It should be rationed or distributed only during the holidays! However, on a much less expensive binge....I finished an entire box of Funny Bones. If they say chocolate is a substitute for sex (and we're ttc), then I am DEFINITELY over-sexed, with the exception of this cycle, since I slept thru the most important days.

It seems that BD'ing for fun has lost it's lustre. Because it's hard to get the ttc'ing out of your head if you've been trying for two years. We equate sex with conception so naturally, that's what I think of.

CityGirl: It's so much a part of our monthly routine (no longer an occasion, now just everday life) that we sometimes forget......like how we forget thing at the supermarket. LOL!

Ambersparkle: Hey, once you receive the opk.....please let me know what you think of it.

ECARROL: I am so sorry to hear about your BFN. Do you ever feel like the Stork discriminates against women who really want babies......it's like a cruel joke. My 18 year old Niece in law was just here over the past weekend with the family AND she's pregnant. I am hotter than fish grease! She's marrying the father this August.....he's going to Iraq. How do you like that? I am sad for her because she just graduated highschool and I am glad for her because she's happy. But I am mad at the stork.

Everyone always says.....it will happen when G-d's ready....it will happen when you least expect it......it will happen, just be patient. WELL I JUST WANT TO BE ANGRY FOR TODAY. LOL!

It's hard to stay positive when all I get are negatives every month. Its really starting to effect my attitude. I am to the point where I am starting to look for reasons why we shouldn't have kids......I'm in school, they're expensive, we can't really travel as much, they're expensive, insurance is costly with a full family, they're expensive........and with all that being said.....I STILL WANT NOTHING MORE THAN TO HAVE TONS OF BABIES.

Y'all pray for me! Better yet......pray for my husband because he has to live with me. :o)

Ok, Ladies- I know this is a little off the subject...but I think we should have a POLL!

POLL: What does your username mean/represent?

I mean, some of them are obvious like our names, but (ie) like MaggiesMom- I never would have known that she wanted to name her first child Maggie, I just would have assumed that she had another child...Anyway, just thought it would be a pick me up from the sometimes monotonous and/or serious topics that leave us upset sometimes! I'll be the first to answer.

*My username, AMBERSPARKLE, represtents my name (Amber) + my eyes

My husband has always told me, even before we were married, that when I get excited and talk about having a child (if we want boys and/or girls, names, etc...) and starting our family that my eyes get all sparkley. So, I chose AMBERSPARKLE, because I can't wait to be pregnant and have that permanant sparkle in my eyes! ;D

Your Turn! You can either just reply or copy and paste the poll and reply!

Baby dust to all!

Babybop,

That's why it's so good we have this message board. I was sooo wanting to talk about babies and stuff last night and my husband was waaaaaaay to into his survival gear and whatnot. I even told him about finding a place that will harvest the stemcells from the umbilical cord and save them for later and he made some comment about that technology being 25 years off or something. And that was it. I feel like I want to talk about this all the time but I have to recognize that he likely doens't. He's already got kids, so he knows he's okay. So I'm sitting over here feeling like there's something sooo wrong with me. I've never felt so freakin' insecure about anything.

Ugh. Sorry. I digress.

But yeah, Babybop. I have days when I just wanna be angry, too. Let's go have some chocolate. ;)
