MaggiesMom~ Welcome! I am on my second month of Ovulex. I had some side effects my first month which included spotting, headaches and backaches but all of those have left now. I seem to be having better luck with ewcm now that I'm on it, and it decreased my pain with AF last month.
Renee~ I got my + opk yesterday and it was CD19. My usual cycle was around 35 days, but I'm not sure what it will end up being this month with the Ovulex. I haven't had a big temperature rise yet, but I think I will actually be ovulating today so I would expect my temp to rise either tomorrow or the next day. At least I hope that's what will happen! I am really paranoid today because I don't know if we will have a chance to BD tonight, but we did it last night and the night before so I think we still have a chance for this month.
Don't stress out too much about whether you O. I was really stressing about it for awhile and it seems that I am O'ing most cycles. How long are your cycles normally? I think Sammy said that the Ovulex made her ovulate later than usual. I read a lot about "anovulation" (the medical term for it) and I think I found an article on www.webmd.com which said that anovulation can usually be corrected easily with medications. So even if you don't O, the odds are still good that you will be able to get preggo with some medication. I hope this helps! Good luck this cycle! I will be thinking of you!

Hi, I have had a m/c before to it is really hard. To me it was like God was testing me to see how I would handle it. Becuase when I got preg. I prayed every day, Lord, this is your baby, and I pray for it to be heathly and I trust in you to do what ever is in your will. I had a m/c at 6 weeks, which isn't very far along, but it still hurts. I even had a jerk ask me what I done to lose the baby! Please dont blame yourself. When ever I would get down I would think of the pray that I prayed, and that would help me, I tried to stay postive, by think that this was Gods chose for now. And I thanked him for helping me thought it. The very next month I got preg. with my beatiful son which is now 4 1/2. You need to put all of your trust in him, he has things planed for you!

I'm so happy that you had a + opk. I'm hoping I will get a + in a couple of days. Thanks for the info. This last year we have gone to a RE and after this last month I asked them if they thought I might not be O and they said that could be why. So I asked them about meds. to make me O, and they said the next step was to do IUI with injectables, which is $1500.00 I think I should have the chose on what step I want to do next. Thats why I started to take Ovulex. I have a 3 month supply and then if that doesn't work I'm going to go see a OBGYN and see if the can get me started on some meds. But I'm going to think postive and not have to worry about going that far. Keep me posted, we are really close on our cycles. Mine are usually 30-31 day and I'm on day 14. Right in the middle just like you. I think you will be ok if you don't BD tonight, they say sperm can live for 5 days. Hopefully you can BD the next day to be safe. Did you get ewcm a couple of days before your + OPK or was it the same day?

Ha, shows how little I know about my own body. AF started 13 days ago after a two month absence. My cycles are so out of whack that I'm not sure what comes when. That's why I started the Ovulex; I'm hoping it evens out my cycles. The feedback on here seems to be good for that. I just started taking it on Saturday, though, and from what I'm reading starting mid-cycle may not have been a smart thing to do. I guess I'll find out, won't I?

Hello Ladies,
Well AF still hasn't came and I haven't tested yet. I am really scared of a BFN, I can't go by AF cause she was inregular. I still have a bottle of ovulex and I haven't started it yeat either. I guess I'm looking for some gudiance, ladies help!!! I am really, really , really confused!! did anyone else experience this??? BABY DUST TO ALL!!!!!!!!!!!!

Okay. I guess I am at a higher level of desperation than I thought.
I just scheduled a consultation with the biggest fertility clinic in the area. And I did that because I'm reading what you are all going through and I realized I have no idea why I'm not getting pregnant. Just a shot in the dark at this point. If I have a blocked ovary or anything I need to know it. I'm not getting any younger.
The downside is that the female doctor at this clinic isn't available for two months.
I'm really hoping to have to cancel that appointment.

How many days are you late? Do you have any signs of preg. or af?

It was probably a good thing that you made an appt. to get every thing looked over. Thats what I did, I had a HCG and both of my tubes were clear and also blood work was good and DH tested fine. If you have insurance and you need to get a HCG test done, which I'm sure you will, Have them code it a certain way. The HCG test cost like 1000.00 here any ways, and when we first looked into getting it done they told me it was not covered. So we saved up money for like 6 months, and called back and they told me it was covered, they just coded it as test though the x-ray dept. Well any ways it saved us 1000.00. We good luck and I will be praying for you that you will have to cancel that appt. Are you using OPK or taking you temps in the morning?

To be honest, I don't know how many days late I am. I started ovulex May 27 and still no AF. As far as feeling preggo, well maybe I sleep alot,sore BB's and that's really all. So what do you think? should I test or start my second bottle of ovulex?

Maggiesmom~ I understand completely what you are going through with the irregular cycles- I am only 22 and have VERY irregular cycles...it freaks me out and makes me think that something is seriously wrong with me, even though I don't have any reason to believe that. To even out my cycle is the exact reason that I started Ovulex. And even though it hasn't even been quite a month for me, I can tell a difference in my hormones (ie- the way I feel emotionally and physically and CM changes) So don't give up- keep the faith!
Isa~I have kept my Ovulex in the fridge per the directions, but I think that is more of a suggestion. I was actually wondering the same thing. I am going on vacation with my whole family in a couple of weeks and I was wondering what I was going to do...my DH and I have decided to keep the fact that we are trying Ovulex to ourselves (most of our family doesn't even know we're trying because of all the pressure we've been getting to start a family)...so I don't want to keep the Ovulex bottle in a community fridge. Anyway, welcome to the board!
ECarroll~ I sent you a message. ;-) I think that if you have experienced symptoms that you believe may be pregnancy, you should test. If you aren't pregnant you will probably want to continue the Ovulex, and the longer you are off of it, the harder it may be for your body to get adjusted to it again. When was AF supposed to come?

Also is there any chance you can ovulate without AF. I have a lot of CM but I dunno?
I have wondered the same thing because I have very irregular AFs, but I found an article once that said you shouldn't worry too much about AF because you could still be Oing and just don't know it...at least that is what I understood it to say. I can't find the article now, but it really confused me and I never found anything to prove or disprove it...so it's a great question. Anyone ever heard this?

Has any one ever had a side effect of tender boobs after taking Ovulex. I have only taken it 1 week and I'm only on cd14 and my boobs are tender and aslo under my arm pits?
Ecarroll, If I was you I would take a hpt. and then if its -, I would even consider going to the doc to get period started again, then start taking ovulex again.
Ladies that have irregular cycle, have you had your thyriod tested. There was a month were I didn't get my af for also 2 months, went to the doc and my thyriod was off, got it back to normal and af comes every 30-31 days.

I tested with a fertility test strip yesturday night and the second line was as dark as the other one? Does that mean that I should Ovulate anytime from 24 to 36 hours?

Hi all!
Welcome to everyone new! I've been so busy the last few days, due to my in-laws visiting.
Well, I don't know what differences you can feel this early before AF, but I have had some bad headaches these last few days (dunno if it's from PG symptoms, PMS, or in-laws :) ), sore bb's with shooting pain down them from time to time, and tiredness. But so far i'm reading that these are also signs of AF coming too...so who knows. I guess I'll just have to wait and see with everyone else.
ECarroll-- I would test if I were you, even if it's a BFN, at least you know, and you can take the ovulex again and maybe see your dr.

Rnorst clomid and fertility shots are different. When they are doing clomid it usually doesn't create a lot more eggs. The fertiltiy shots the 1st time I did it I got 17 eggs the 2nd time 23 eggswhen I did IVF. It also depends on if you are doing it with IVF or IUI. When they do IVF you can develop more eggs because they will control how many they put back in. When you do IUI They want to keep you follicle amount low because they cann't control how many you can become pregnant by. They don't want you to have a litter of 9-12 babies!! I hope that this helped you.
ECARROLL if you are going to test I would see what your results are if they are I hope a BFP then you don't need the Ovulex(yeah yippee!!!!!!!) if not then you can continue on them( I am praying for you!!!!!)
Isa and ambersparkle I would suggest if they don't have a frig or you don't want others to know about it to take with you what you need and maybe 2-3 extra just in case that way at least you are still taking it and if it does do something to them by not having them refrigerated at least your entire bottle won't go bad.

When your test line is as dark as or darker than the control line, it means you got a + opk. This means that you should ovulate within the next 12-36 hours. So you can BD now and you'll have the best chances of getting pg! GL!
