Feisty - November 15

Hey every one im back. Im at school right now trying to finish my hw. I still havent called my doctor yet. Im going to wait till december because it says to consult a doctor after almost a year trying. In december it will be a year of me trying to conceive and i will consult my doctor. I also have to go because last month i had my first yeast infection and i didnt know what it was cause my mom never talked to me about yeast infections and how to get relief from it. My aunt told me to buy some pills and how to take them and it went away. But the weird thing was my period came on during the infection and i bled for one day heavily and the spotted for three days. i usually bleed heavily for three days and spot for two days.

Wow!!!

Andrea I'm glad you are doing wonderful. It brings us Hope... AF is kicking my butt. I'm not having real bad cramps but I do feel a discomfort. Not enough to take any pain relievers.

Feisty,
Good you are back please see your Dr. asap.

I started taking the Ovulex about 2 1/2 months ago. It helps so much with AF. No cramping No back aches. But i still get the sore boobs. I am not sure if it helps with me being a little bitchy. I do not think I am as bitchy now as I used to be. Maybe part of my mood was because of all the cramping and back aches. The backache was the worst for me. I felt like I was getting cut in 2 pieces.

feisty - yeast infections can be crappy from what I have heard. I went to the Dr once because I thought I had one and they told me it was not a yeast infection it was a bacterial infection which resembles the yeast infection but medication for a regular yi would not work completely, and if not treated properly it could cause internal problems. So now when I think I have something I just call the Dr up and they go ahead and call in a capsule kind of medication or it sometimes comes in a tube and you put it up "becky" (vagina).
It relieves it really fast. So instead of just buying over the counter stuff always consult your doctor.

If anyone was wondering why I call it Becky there is a funny story behind it.
A girl I know had on a really short skirt once and she was in the kitchen and she bent over and her grandma yelled "Missy Becky just winked at me, go put on a longer skirt!"
I thought that was so funny so from now on anyone that talks about that area we refer to it as Becky. It has really caught on around here. HEHE

I also just told MH this... I called to get an appointment with a different Dr because my has left and I am having medical center send her my medical records and I decided I would like a look see at them myself. So the clinic is sending me a complete copy of my medical records. I am excited to see what is all in them.

Hi. I have been all over the looking for discussions about ovulex, found this site and want to say you are all so sweet. Seems like a lil family!! I am 25, and have been trying to get pregnant for 5 years. With no luck at all. My periods are always irregular. My cycle lasts from 65 to 80 days! Sometimes more, sometimes less.I found ovulex while searching for fertility aids. I ordered it a couple of days ago, and should get it Friday. I am hoping and praying that it will work for me as well as for all of u. Has anyone had success with getting pregnant?

Andrea -
Thanks for the advice on the food thing. I eat rather healthy as well, just need to boost those fruits and veggies. I have a craving for candy all the time. I have tried to slow down a bit, but it is hard. That is my weakness. :)

Thank you so much to all of you for continuing to share your stories. It is incredible what a bond you can feel with those you haven't even met.

I look forward to hearing more good news from many of you. May Ovulex be the key for all of us :D

Sisters you need to take the time out and read this. Let this be your check list. Cut and paste to a Word Document and if you see your problem check it off then try and correct it if possible. Lets Conquer this Infertility!!!

Basic Information

Description

* The inability to become pregnant after 1 year of sexual activity without contraception. Infertility occurs in 10 to l5% of all couples. Female fertility depends on normal functioning of the reproductive tract and the production of hormones necessary for normal sexual development and functioning. About 40 to 50% of all infertility is attributed to the female.

Frequent Signs and Symptoms

* Inability to conceive.

Causes

* Anatomic abnormalities of the reproductive system.
* Emotional stress.
* Repeated weight gain/weight-loss cycles.
* Hormone dysfunction, especially thyroid disorders.
* Vaginitis.
* Disorders of the cervix, such as infection, laceration or tearing from previous childbirth or narrowing of the cervical opening for any reason.
* Amenorrhea (lack of menstrual periods) caused by strenuous exercise programs or nutritional disorders (bulimia or anorexia nervosa).
* Chemical changes in the cervical mucus.
* Ovarian cysts.
* Endometriosis.
* Smoking.
* Tumors.
* The use of some medications, including oral contraceptives (e.g., Depo-Provera). A large number of women cannot conceive for many months after discontinuing use.
* Intrauterine device( IUD) (possibly).
* Disorders probably not related to infertility include: a tilted uterus; small fibroid tumors of the uterus; or inability to achieve sexual orgasm.

Risk Increases With

* Stress.
* Diabetes mellitus.
* Martial discord and infrequent sexual intercourse.
* Smoking.
* Genital disorders.
* Drugs of abuse, such as heroin.

Preventive Measures

* Obtain treatment for any treatable disorder that causes infertility.
* Avoid preventable causes of infertility.

Expected Outcome

* Some fertility problems are minor and reversible. Approach treatment with optimism.
* Research into this area is offering new options to couples.

Possible Complications

* Psychological distress, including feelings of guilt, inadequacy and loss of self-esteem.
* Treatment costs are high and often not covered by insurance.
* The unknown and possible long-term effects of medications used to increase fertility.

Treatment/Post Procedure Care

General Measures

* Diagnostic tests may include laboratory blood tests; pelvic examination; hysterosalpingogram (x-ray study of the genital tract); postcoital test (PCT), which is a study of the cervical mucus performed 2 to 12 hours after intercourse; endometrial biopsy to rule out luteal phase defect (a defect in hormone production) and possibly others.
* Surgical diagnostic procedures, such as laparoscopy (use of a small lighted telescope) to examine reproductive organs.
* Psychotherapy or counseling, if marital problems exist.
* Surgery to correct any reproductive system abnormalities.
Keep a basal body-temperature chart to become familiar with your ovulation pattern. Have intercourse just before ovulation, which can be determined from the chart.
* Don't use a lubricant during sexual relations. Lubricants may interfere with sperm mobility.
[glow=red,2,300]* Your partner should withdraw his penis quickly from your vagina after ejaculation. If left in, it reduces the number of sperm that can swim toward the egg.[/glow]
[glow=red,2,300]* After your partner's ejaculation, place pillows under your buttocks to provide an easier downhill swim for the sperm.[/glow]
[glow=red,2,300]* Maintain a positive attitude. Worry and tension may contribute to infertility.[/glow]
* Alternate pregnancy methods include in-vitro fertilization (IVF) in which eggs from the female are harvested, impregnated with sperm from the male, and implanted in the uterus; GIFT or ZIFT (gamate or zygote intrafallopian transfer) which are implant procedures involving female egg and male sperm; and intracytoplasmic sperm injection ICSI), whereby a single sperm is injected into a single egg and the resulting zygote is transferred to the uterus.
* Additional information available from the Fertility Research Foundation, 1430 Second Avenue, Suite 103, New York, NY 10021, (212) 744-5500 or American Fertility Society, 1209 Montgomery Hwy., Birmingham, AL 35215-2809, (205) 978-5000.

Medication

* Hormones for a hormone imbalance.
* Gonad stimulants such as clomiphene, menotropins (Pergonal), human chorionic gonadotropin (hCG), leuprolide (Lupron) or urofollitropin. Recognize that fertility drugs may cause multiple births.

Activity

Exercise moderately. Overexercising may contribute to infertility.

Diet

Eat a normal, well-balanced diet. If you are overweight, try to achieve your ideal weight.

Notify Your Healthcare Provider If

* You or a family member is concerned about infertility.
* Conception does not occur within 6 months, despite recommendations and treatment.
* New, unexplained symptoms develop. Hormones used in treatment may produce side effects.

Hello sisters
Andrea - Good for you that the symptoms are coming now so happy for you. wishing you all the good health in the months ahead

MH - thanks so much for sending me the site for the free magazine. i really appreciate it. and that post was so good and caring of you.

Garfan - how was the bding?
well i had SERIOUS pains yesterday (suspect it was ov) and i haven't seen anything like it in years. so i just bd yester night with all that aches etc but i still ahve slight twinges. but DH says we will continue until we are sure ov has passed as it was quite early for yesterday.

in general, i got my blood test from last cycle yesterday and it was sooo very good. i was really itching to see the progesterone because that was what i was told was the problem with my hormones. but irt was 30 over 36 as against 2.5 the last time. so ovulex worked for me by helping to balance my hormones. so up up ovulex.

just waiting to read other posts

see you ladies soon

tta
