Multiple IVF's

Hello to all!

I have done 4 IVF's in the last 6 months. All have resulted in no pregnancy. I'm just looking for any anecdotal or scientific support for taking a break or continuing. Part of me feels like I should take a couple of months off to let my body relax, but I turn 38 this month and so time is of the essence. Can doing multiple IVF'S so close together cause problems or decrease the chance for pregnancy?

Thanks

Hi jkayep, After 4 IVF's and No pregnancy. Can you go to another infertility clinic? What did your RE say that the problem is? Is it with you or your Husband ? Sometimes just changing RE's or a different protocol can result in a pregnancy.

Hi! I know how you feel I've done more than 4 cycles. I agree with red, try changing clinics. My new clinic did a test called ERA or endometrial receptivity array. It helps to test your lining to see if it can hold a pregnancy. Some women need more or less days of progesterone shots before transfer. Example, usually it's 5 days of progesterone injections then transfer day. Some women are found to either need 4 days of progesterone or 6 before transfer. This test will help determine that! Good luck!
