Anyone here know if you can still get pregnant naturally with one hydrosalpinx? Has anyone else been diagnosed with this problem?

??? I had an HSG back in June and I'm still TTC. Maybe you should ask your gyne if there is something he/she can recommend.

ValleyB1, Sorry you had to be put through the pain of an HSG as well. I hope your results were better than mine :) I suppose I should talk to my doctor more. I was in such shock that she actually found anything that my mind went blank. But she seemed pleased that the other tube was open, although there is still a risk that it could be damaged in some way. I was just wondering whether anyone here has heard of someone with a similar problem getting pregnant naturally. There is an awful alot of information out there on the negative effects of a hydrosalpinx on implantation of an embryo :(

Hey praying ... I appreciate the kind words. Thankfully all organs are in working order.
Of course when you hear bad news about your body it does something to you but on the same token you have to take that knowledge and determine next steps.
Definitely speak with your doctor and find out the alternatives. Next do some research on your own. I've found that webmd.com is a great source. You may also want to try babycenter.com
I hope that helps. Good luck with everything :)
