I'm new here...this is my first time to every post about fertility (or the lack thereof ::) ) We just had our first IUI w/ clomid and ovidrel injection on 11/17 and I'm waiting, but not feeling super-positive about this one. I'm very crampy and bloated. I feel very much like I do before AF normally starts.

Quick history: I am 25 and have unicornuate uterus (1/2 uterus, 2 ovaries but only one attached via fallopian tube) so my RE is letting me do Clomid with careful monitoring but no injectables because risk of mulitples is too high with my small uterus. My DH (28) is mf ranging from mild to profound over the last 6 months...the doctors speculate the fluctuation may have been due to prostate infection but he had no symptoms. If this doesn't work we will try 2 more IUIs and then IVF but only one embryo at a time . :-\

I just felt the need to get support from women who have been through this before.

Hey there,

We just had our first IUI/clomid on 11/26. So far, we're labeled "unexplained infertility."
Our beta is on 12/08....so, we're about a week behind you. My husband is very hopeful, but I'm trying not to get my hopes up!

Thanks for inquiring. I'm good, just trying to keep busy until my beta on 12/08. I'm trying to be realistic and not get my hopes up, but my husband is SO excited.
Oh, and my email use to alert me when someone replied to me here, but it hasn't been lately. I just keep checking back! I have a hard time remembering where I posted too!

How are you? You're still in the 2ww, right? When's your beta? You can call me Jeni, btw. :)

I was looking at my calender and thought ur beta would be 12/7 but I guess they are waiting an extra day.
I am had my u/s and trigger shot yesterday and tomorrow I get iui then I will be Officially on my 2ww....
I am so excited for you. I also am "unexplained " and husband has some male factor issues with counts and morphology. BUt he is taking a lot of vitamins. As I am . MAke sure u take plenty of folic acid.

What are you experiencing? any symptoms?

Hi Jena,

No symptoms...just very tired. I think that may be the clomid.
Have you had a lap. to check for endo.? If this doesn't work, we're thinking about that.

No I havent had a lap... My Doc hasnt mentioned anything about that. Hoping that this works this time and no need/ Is that the only way to check for endo? I thought u could see it with the u/s?
I am unfamiliar..
