Has anyone completed PGD w/IVF? We are doing PGD due to Duchenne Muscular Dystrophy risk. No fertility issues. We are working with Dr. Hughes in Michigan thru our clinic in Oregon. Dr. Hughes did an hour and 15 minute phone consult and I really liked him.
Any advice on PGD is appreciated.
We are in the process of trying to get insurance to cover the genetic portion of our IVF. The Dr. in Michigan told me he would write a compelling cost benefit letter to the insurance company. My clinic just sent off the authorization which I am sure my insurance will deny but I will be ready with the appeal.
