hey girls.
it's been a while since i have posted on here but i have been checking up on everyone daily. well the last month has been a hard onewith a lot of decision to be made. we found out that our 6th iui was unsuccessful, made the ivf consultation, and went through our 7th iui last thurs., which i am now in the dreaded 2ww.
hubby and i have decided that we would go through 7 iui's and if that one is unsuccessful we would move on to ivf. that was a very tough decision, it scares me to think of ivf. i guess the thought of have multiples(like triplets or quads), and knowing that if we want more children in the future that we will have to go through it all over again. but in the end if that is what it is going to take to have our baby then that's what we need to do.
well we have our ivf consultation this friday. we won't know if the 7th iui worked at the time we go for our consultation just because that was the only date available except for the end of july and i did not want to wait that long. hopefully if we get our date set for ivf it will give us good luck. :) i can hope.
well my question is what questions should i take to my ivf consultation? any advice would be appreciated. i am very nervous and wanted to get some questions wrote down in case i go blank.

WEll, first - do you know if there is a chance of male factors playing a role in the infertility - ie has DH had his semen tested etc - i am guessing so and that it is just unexplained fertility.
I would ask about their success rates, their thoughts and costs on ICSI, their protocol on day 3 vs day 5 transfer.
Likely they will provide all that info in a talk and in some take home pamphlets.
