Did you end up with OHSS? I was told I may end up with it as well since they took 28 eggs. Did you have any of the symptoms?

Had my ER this morning. All went well! All 28 follicles are out! I an doing ICSI so I will find our about maturation and afertilization tomorrow! I feel pretty good and I am resting well! That is the best part I think! To actually feel like I can rest for a few days! Kepp us posted on the BFP you will get on Wednesday!

Wow 28 I feel like an underachiever have you heard about your fertilization yet? I can imagine how much better you feel to have the follicles out. I hope you are feeling good and resting plenty. I have my fingers crossed for you.

Hey Everyone,
Well I broke down and took an hpt I got a + but I am not sure if it is valid. I found some information that said if you only took a 2500iu hcg it is out of your system in 7 days. I am going to remain calm until Wednesday.

Hey Everyone!
Well out of those 28 eggs, 23 were mature and 21 fertilized so we should have plenty to transfer. I had a rough day today. I was vomitting and my RE nurse said it could just be the anesthesia but I fear OHSS. I hope not! I will keep you posted on my transfer!

Sounds like a BFP is on the way for you! I would believe it since you had the spotting at the right time too! Good luck! My fingers are crossed for you!

Everyone,
Just got a call from the nurse, they want to transfer tomorrow. I want to wait until blastocyst which is not until 5 days. I told my DR. this before we started. Turns out he is not the one who makes the call, the Embriologist is. I am trying to get in touch with him now to relay the message. I will not tranfer anything but a blast. This is my second time and I want to be sure! If they don't make it to balst, we have 2 frozend ones we can use. Sorry! Just needed to vent a little. Today the embryos were only at abuuot a 2 cell. That is not a good sign. We have 19 still viable today after 21 fertilized yesterday! Keep me in your thoughts please!

I am so sorry about what is going on can't you overide the embriologists decision I mean it is your body and they are your embryos. I am thinking of you and I hope you win this battle and by all means vent anytime you need to. Well my day is not going well either I am having cramping and spotting today. I should have skipped the hpt because it feels like AF is rearing her ugly head. Asunflower I really hope your embies make it to blast.

Kris- Congrats!!!!!!!!! I am sure it will be great news for you on Wednesday.
Asunflower- Wow 28 eggs with 21 mature and 19 still going. That is good. I wonder why they want to do day 3 with 19 I think your odds are pretty good that you can get to blast with a couple. My re said that since I had the 15 that fertilized they froze 5 right away because his experience that if you have at least 10 you odds are good of getting to blast.
I am sorry to hear that you were throwing up. I did have mild OHSS i think a couple of days after the ER, my ER was on Monday and I was pretty bloated and crampy until about Thursday. Then I felt fine Thursday through yesterday........today I woke up super bloated again and crampy and I put on almost 2 pounds since yesterday. I look 3 months pg!!! I called the nurse and she said to keep and eye on it and as long as I don't gain 5 pounds or get short of breath then I not to call. I am trying not to get my hopes up because I know they say the OHSS can flare up again if you get pregnant. In my manual it says that the second phase of OHSS is 12-14 days after HCG if you get pregnant because your HCG go up again. Today is only 10 days past HCG for me but I am noticably bloated and crampy.........
6 more days to beta...I think it is going to be a long 6 days
Kris tomorrow is your big day, I am sure you are going to get a good beta number. I will be thinking about you.

We must have been posting at the same time.
Don't give up hope!!!! you shouldn't get your period if you are the progesterone shots, so it could just be pg related!! I have heard of lots of women that have had that happen to them and they go on to be and stay pregnant.

Hang in there! AF won't come until you are off the shots. Are you also taking Estrace? I have that to take twice a day. The spotting may be a good sign. The end is in sight!

I already told the RE that I am waiting until Blasts! I don't care if I have nothing to transfer but I think with 19 I will. I not we have 2 frozen blasts we can use instead so I am hanging tough! Thanks for all of your support!

Feeling much better today! Keep me posted on the OHSS. I don't feel too bloated today but I know the feeling from last time! MAybe you will be pregnant! GOod luck to you!

Way to hang in there! I am sure you will have some nice blasts to transfer. I have my fingers crossed, you have way more eggs at this stage than we did so I am feeling confident there will be some great ones! Thanks for the info on AF I am taking 1cc PIO IM every morning my RE did not prescribe Estrace. I have more of a heavy brown discharge so I took a UTI test and it came back positive for white blood cells so I am starting to wonder if that is playing a part as well. I am just really freaking out because I am not experiencing anything I have in the past except the crampy feeling. Well enough of my moaning and groaning I will know by tomorrow!

Asunflower- Way to Go!!! That is great that you stuck your ground, I swear some of these doctors think their patients don't know anything. I will keep my fingers crossed that you have a couple to tranfer friday. With as many as you have to start with the odds are in your favor!
Kris-I am so excited for you , I hope you get great news today!!! I am thinking about you.
As for me my bloating feels a little better today and my weight hasn't gone up so that is good.......I think. Trying to stay positive and not think whether or not it worked every minute...I am going for every other minute ;)
