Thank you all for your replies to my "well, its a bust" post where, after 3 failed cycles, my RE wanted to double the Clomid to 100 mg (which concerned me) and add injectables.

I declined the Clomid, so he put me on 5 mg Femara instead + the injectables. They told me I had a textbook cycle - perfect hormone levels, 5 follicles 18-24 mm, natural surge and THREE IUI's. (Bloodwork showed 2 days of elevated LH, so they figured the first IUI might have been too early).

It failed. The nurse said "everyone in the office couldn't believe it failed, that was a perfect cycle!"

I cried all the way home.

Anyway, I'm trying the same protocol again and wonder if anyone else has had any luck with 5 mg Femara and Gonal-f injectables. I just had my CD10 u/s and only have 2 follicles this time, whereas last time I had 5. I just spent hundreds and hundreds of $$$ on injectables and only got 2 follicles. I could have had that with the 50 mg of Clomid for 1/10th the price!!
