T-Shaped

Hi Doctor,

My husband and I are trying to have a baby for nine years and only one chemical pregnancy to speak of (with my eggs). The doctor only performed assisted hatching once and that resulted in the chemical pregnancy.

In October 2006 we decided to go with a donor. We had four grade 1 blastocysts. Two were transferred without any success. We asked for assisted hatching but the doctor would not do it. He said its not necessary. I wrote to Dr. Smith at that time and he mentioned something about digestive enzymes and he always performs assisted hatching on blasts.

Furthermore, the doctor knew of a polyp from the outset (October 2006) and I only found out by accident the day of the transfer. I made arrangements to have it removed in June 2007, however, I asked that a different doctor from the same clinic perform the procedure. It was discovered during the surgery that I have a minor T shaped uterus. The new doctor attributes this to our infertility. However, in nine years would I not have become pregnant once?? The t shape is not severe as you find in des daughters. Also, the original doctor should have detected this in the early examinations (i.e. hysterosongram, laporoscopy, ultrasounds-3D etc.). That's a different story altogether. The original doctor even performed laporoscopy surgery to correct possible endometriosis and ending up blasting my ovaries with co2 (POF). What a joke! For your knowledge I made the mistake of staying with the same doctor for nine years.

I am confused, frustrated, angry and any other adjective you can think of.

I have two blasts in the fridge, what should we do?
