Hi
We're planning to have a donor egg treatment with embryo transfer at the end of March.
My husband was very ill for about a week over new year with tonsilitis and I'm worried that this might have affected the quality of his sperm. Do you think that it's worth us getting a sample taken soon & frozen just in case there's a problem on EC day?
thanks!
Susie

Yes, having a back up in the cryo tank is never a bad idea. However, if it turns out that the sperm parameters are low on the day of IVF, ICSI can be performed. Don't worry too much about it.
