Hi
I am getting an old pro at this IVF lark now :'( and am having my final cycle in March/April.
I have a high prolactin level and also have the small tumour on my pituitary gland however I dont receive any medication for it as the active assay levels of prolactin are just over the normal range so they say that is ok. I have regular but heavy periods.
Last cycle I had 2 x blasts transferred and got a BFN. I also had Bromocriptine on that cycle. I also found out that I have blocked tubes at the uterus end. Apart from that everything runs quite smoothly!
Will my prolactin level affect my blasts implanting?
Is there anything I can do to improve my chances?
What are the reasons that blasts would not implant?
Out of all the cycles I have had, I do feel that the blasts did try to implant. I had episodes of dizziness and sickness then by about day 9 past transfer it had all gone so I knew it hadnt worked.
Sorry for my ramblings but I look forward to your reply.
Anna
