l am 38, and have gone through several iuis, had one successful iui but at 11weeks had a miscarriage. my RE recommended ivf which we agreed very little was discussed other than explanations of success ratesat my age. 7 follicles retrieved only 2 were mature, both fertilized, only one reached day 3, and RE transfered. l knew the results even before the transfer. since we had a positive iui we decided to do more, am on my second trial and just had a negative result just five minutes ago. l dont understand myself at all since l grow 7-10 follicles with follistim and the fact that non fertilizes is just shocking, do you think they are just empty follicles some measuring 18-22mm its hard to believe. do we need to be agressive more than this. Dr. Smith please advise me before l make a call to my RE on our next step.
