Freezing PGD'd embryos?

Hi - simple question...

My wife and I will be doing PGD after multiple miscarriages due to trisomies.

Should a lab be able to freeze any extra embryos that have had PGD performed on them? If so, has it been your experience that the subsequent thaw rate for PGD'd embryos is worse or better? Thanks in advance for your help.

In my experience, embryos that have undergone PGD and then subsequently frozen at the blastocyst stage exhibit the same post-thaw survival rate as other blastocyst stage embryos (about 90%). Should be fine. However, unless there's a real bumper crop of eggs, it would be unsual to freeze more than one or two "normal" blastocyst stage embryos folowing PGD. Good luck.
