E2 level
Hello Doc

When E2 level is comparatively high,

(dont know how much in my case but they say it triples everyday day..some were around now it is 7050 ..dont know it which units they measure in clinic)..

what are the chances of achieving pregnancy..I'm in my first ivf/icsi male infertility case.
My doc suggested me to wait for another 8 weeks ..and can have FET transfer .

regards
Lakshmi

I'm 30 yrs old - have one son (had a normal pregnancy in 1998 )

Absolutely! If you were to have a fresh ET with an estradiol as high as you say it is you run 2 risks: 1) becoming severely ill from the hyperstimulation syndrome which, if you became pregnant from the ET, would be very tricky and difficult to control and 2) not getting pregnant even if very good embryos were transferred BECAUSE the supraphysiologic estradiol level would lessen the chance of embryo implantation. Better to freeze the embryos and transfer them when your blood hormone levels are more "normal".
