Hello, I'm 3 days post transfer of two 8-cell grade 1 embryos. The MD estimated about a 75% chance of success - is this realistic? It sounds a little too optimistic to me. (I am 36 with secondary [male factor] infertility & one prior healthy term pregnancy). Also, this was my first IVF cycle and the egg/embryo stats were as follows: -18 eggs retrieved -15 mature/viable -11 fertilized normally -2 were 8 cell grade 1 (transferred) -4 were slightly lower grade (frozen) -5 continued in culture but did not reach blastocyst stage. So overall we ended up with 6 embryos from 18 eggs. Is this the expected rate of attrition? Thanks!
