Hello Dr Smith,
I would be grateful if you could possibly answer my query
I have had recently had my final ivf cycle #14 with pgs in UK
I had 7 embryos 6 grade 1 & 1 grade 2. my 6 gade 1 embryos where sent for anueploidy screening (to Spain) which the results confirmed all embryos abnormal with a combination of trisomy 15 & monosmy 16. all 6 had made it to blastocyst stage
Could you please advise me if this is age related (i have just turned 44 but was 43.5 at the time ) or are we carriers of this defect?
We did not attend our review appt with our doctor due to a family emergency and our clinic has not sent us any further information
This was our last cycle with my own eggs so i really want to find out if this is the reason for my previous losses (2 ectopic pg & 4 m/c from ages 32-41). If i was to use donated eggs would this problem occur again?
Thanks in advance Kind regards Hermione

Genetics is not within my field of expertise. I can't give you an informed opinion.
You may be able to get more information by contacting the Reproductive Genetics Institute in Chicago. They have a "second opinion" questionaire and genetic labs in Europe.
