Hi Liz,

I figured you must be busy, I just wanted to make sure evrything was going well for you & your lil one :)

I will definatley talk to the Dr and ask her about the ovulex. I know you must think I am crazy, but if I can save money if this works for me then that would be awesome. I am worried about the balck cohosh and that is true if it ain't good while you are preg then why is it ok while you ttc. I will keep you posted.

AF should be here soon :( my (.)(.) are killing me and usually that means it will be a bad one and we are driving to FL about the time she is suppose to arrive :( and I will be w/ a car full of guys. YIKES!!

Hi Liz

Its so nice to here from you. I hope all is going well. I have been keeping busy. I will be taking a blood test next week during my AF to test levels. Really I have been trying not to stress myself. At least I know I have hope through IVF so I am looking forward to that.

What about you, how are you doing?

Hi Kim,

Thanks for your kind words. I have been trying to stay positive. When i found out it would very challenging for me to have a baby. I just went crazy with research, research. I have found that if you do the things you need to do and know it your heart that this will work, meaning speak it, and think it. Then it will happen. so I have been claiming this baby or babies (smile). There is no doubth that it will happen.

I feel good about the coming months.

Things are going pretty well I have my ups and downs. I just wish that there was a reason why I can't get preg. I have had bw and u/s and nothing. I need to get my dh to get his sperm tested, but it is a male ego thing and he thinks that there is nothing wrong w/ him. When we get back from Fl I am going to get him to the Dr's!!!

I came across another forum and they were talking about this ebook called " Miracles Do Happen " they were saying that they thought the ebook was a scam. One of the ladies on there mentioned another book called " Taking Charge of Your Fertility " She said that her friend who was trying to get his wife preg for a 11yrs recomended it to her. Their Dr told them to get it and after 11yrs trying she got preg 2 1/2 mths later. So the lady got the book and now she is preg. I think I am going to go check it out, hey I don't think it would hurt you know? Hopefully maybe it will help me and maybe the secret for us. I also think I am going to try ovulex and maybe have my dh take ambreoz.

I know what you mean about staying positive and telling your self it will happen that is where I am right now and I just need to keep my head up.

I really have to run, I have alot to do today. We are leaving for FL on Thurs and there is 6 of us going down (driving). So I have cleaning, packing and shopping. My friend (who is 16 ) is going w/ us so we are going grocery shoping w/ her 1mth old baby. He is sooooo cute, such a beautiful baby, but it still gets hard for me at times.

Hi Kim,

Unexplained infertility is common from what I hear. But you will find your answer soon. Your DH will come around, most men always think that its the women's problem when it comes to infertility. He will be ok, just be patient.

What forum was that you saw the mention of the books?

Florida will be a great getaway for you. Have fun, no stress. carry a nice back pillow so you can be comfortable. 16 wow! I know its hard, your time will come. The good thing is that you are taking charge of this right now. Have fun

Glad to hear you are keeping busy, it always helped me alot to keep as busy as possible. Kept my mind off of it atleast for alittle bit. lol

Have you received some answers on the questions you had about IVF? You sound like you are headed on the right track with the bw during af. Do you know what they are testing for at that time?

I love your attitude with ttc. I know for me it was "I want this and I am going to do whatever it takes to get it!" I cried my eyes out on more then one occasion when I had to pay a bill that was pretty steap. It can be a hardship financially and emotionally for anyone. For me I set my sights on the goal and kept moving forward. When I got knocked down, I picked myself up an moved forward again.

FL, I am jealous! I need a vacation and someplace sunny and warm would really do the trick right about now. I hope you hav a great time and af is not so rough on you. I remember last year DH and I were driving to FL when af arrived me and she was not so kind. I was miserable! I hope you have a more successful time then me.

Hey Liz,

It is a quick trip and I am not to sure how relaxing, but I can't wait to wear flip flops 8) I hope af will come on Wed, Thurs morning or some time b4 we leave. I really wish af wont arrive at all that would be even better!! :D If she does come I hope she is nice or I'll be taking lots of IBprophen, thats what I had to do when I was having my problems so in emergency situations I do that. I hate taking stuff like that, but I have no choice you know?

Hi Liz

The bw is to test my FsH level. I am keeping a positive mind, believe me I am nervous about the whole thing. I don't know why I was one of the women chosen to have a baby this way.

This is going to be a very expensive baby, but worth every penny. Our insurance does not cover IVF, but our RE's office has a grant system given by the state so we can do a co % share, for 2 cycles. This was such a blessing. Its the courage of women like yourself and my love for my future child that will make me continue on this very emotional journey.

My RE gave me a book on IVF so I have a lot of knowledge and one of the ladies on the other board told me the entire process. its about 2 months the entire process to the 2ww.

I'm not to sure how I found it and I don't know if I'll find it, but I will let you know if I do find it.

I hope soon me infertility problems will be over and soon I can have some answers. I wish you all the best w/ thw IVF and I hope all will work out for you, I can't wait to hear when you tell us you have a BFP. I know it will happen just stay positive.

I hope the trip goes well and that af wont come during the trip. I will bring a pillow for my back, thank you :) and for the most part I will be riding shot gun, which is good cuz I get car sick :(

I am going to bed, I have alot to do tomorrow to get ready for the trip and I have to babysit plus go to the gym for my hip hop class. I will try to stop by tomrrow.

Hi Ladies,

Now I'm butting in to your chat room :-) I couldn't help it, though. What wonderful stories in here. Liz - you are a true inspiration for all of us TTC gals.

Kim - I had to jump in b/c I think we are going through something similar. On the tests that my Doc has done, my hormone levels always seem normal. But, I never have an LH surge. I've been trying OPC and my Clear Blue Fertility Monitor and I never peak. I'm pretty much an optimist but that is really frustrating when you spend so much $ to have the tests not work :-( I have yet to find out why this is happening. I read one article that some people have such a short window for ovulation that you may miss it but if you try to test twice in a day that you should catch it (this currently isn't working for me). I just got back on Femara after a 4 month time out for recovering from a myomectomy. My Dr hoped that my fibroid was the problem but he's determined that I need to go back on Femara. Ever since my surgery my period seems to be really short but ovulation is late (day 17 had a good size follicle but got my period on day 24). Anyway, hope you ladies have a great weekend!

Hey Girls!

I'm back we had a really good trip. It took us 24hrs to get there, but on the way back it took about 33hrs we hit snow,ice and fog in PA, NY and Conn. (my poor dh )
I couldn't stay awake. One of the reasons it took longer was bcuz i started my period :( We had to stop like every 2hrs, sometimes less. It was not a fun trip home and I couldn't be picky w/ the bathrooms and let me tell you there was some pretty nasty ones!!! I am a BIG germ freak.

So anways a new month and who knows what wil happen. Af was a few days late so who knows what this cycle will be. It is all in God's hands and I just have to be patient.

Liz, how is everything going? I hope all is well. Getting ready for the baby? You started your classes right? How many more weeks? I am sooooo happy for you :D How is your dh doing ? Well I hope all is well.

Tia, how are you doing girl? Anything new? I hope all is well and everything is going good.

I gotta run I have alot of house work to do and lots of laundry. I hate when you get back from being out of town my house was so clean when we left, then we got home and landed YIKES!!! anways I'll talk to you later

Hey Bree,

You can butt in any time, girl. So you don't get a peak on your OPK and you have had some testing and so far there is nothing wrong? Just stay positive and try to keep your head up.

This weekend when I was gone I met a lady who was trying to concieve for 12yrs she went to the Dr and had testing done for her and her dh and there was nothing wrong there was no reason why they couldn't get preg. They decided to adopt, so they did foster care, they got a 2mth old and now he is a lil over a yr and they just finalized the adoption papers. It was such a blessing to hear her story. It wasn't probably what you expect, but just hearing how much joy she had that she finally got her boy. She said it is such a hard thing to go through and you have to give it over to God and say ok God you have control you can open and shut the womb and whatever happens I know it is your will. She said I don't know what his will is for you, but just stay strong and keep positive and don't worry God has a plan for you.
I don't know what will happen, but she gave me so much peace after that and I just know I need to be happy and just trust God that He will take care of me, just like He wiil take care of you.

I hope all goes well and you keep my posted and I will do the same for you.

I have to run. I have alot of house work to be done, since we just got back and this house is a wreck.

Glad to see you are back on the board. I am happy you had a nice trip.

I am doing ok myself. I am seeing another RE on the 7th I did my day 2 blood work a few days ago. This RE actually wants to take a look the film from my HSG so I am feeling good about that. I was told that my tubes were blocked so I guess he will confirm that from the films. Anyway I am feeling good about going through the process I can't wait to be pregnant. The thought of just brings me so much joy. I am so ready. If IVF is my only option I am fine with that. I am looking forward to be pregnant this summer :)
I will keep you posted.

I'm gald to see that you are doing ok and that all is well.
I hope things keep looking up for you and that you will get pregnant by the summer :)

IVF, is that what you think you will end up doing? Is it because your tubes are blocked? I hope all goes well and that you will see the light at the end of the tunel.

I think this week coming up is pay wk (we get payed every 2wks) so we will be ordering ovulex :) I really hope that it will work and we get that bfp. We wil just have to take it one day at a time and see what will happen. If ovulex does'nt work then we will move on to clomid and I guess work our way up if we need to. Dh and I talked, we decided to go get a male fertility kit at the drug store ( there like $30/40 ) and we will test him and see what it says ; if it doesn't look to good then he'll go to the dr and do the testing from there. I really don't feel that it is him so I figure we would do that for him then go from there, plus it is like on ego thing for him and he isn't to thrilled about it. I tell him I would do that 100x more than what us women have to go through, but as you know men can be babies :)

I hope things go well and it would be really nice if we don't have to do all the other stuff and that ovulex would just do the trick. All I can say is we will just have to see and go w/ the flow :) I just have to stay positive and just trust God, that is the only reason why I can keep gong on.
