Well, I completed my 2nd cycle Clomid and had the blood work last Friday. I got the call from my ob/gyn yesterday on the results. Again, it indicates that I did NOT ovulate. Originally my doc said to give it 4 cycles on Clomid and if it doesn't work, go to RE.
I made the decision to just go to the RE if this cycle was unsuccessful. It's already been 1-1/2 to 2 yrs now ttc. I have PCOS and am not ovulating. Clomid doesn't seem to help me ovulate. So, next Fri I see RE for consult.
I just switched insurance companies, and found out the new insurance covers IUI (but not IVF). My old insurance didn't cover either. So that's good news, but I don't think it will help me if I'm not ovulating anyway.
Well, just wanted to update you all. I'm disappointed again & frustrated. Dealing with infertility is so hard physically, mentally, etc. It's also disappointing to go through all the side effects of medication, etc to find out it's for nothing, because you're not even ovulating to get preg! Ugh.....
Hopefully I have better luck soon with the RE. >:(
