Hi all
I am new to this board and happy to have found all of you.

I have been ttc from November 2004. I am desperate and often depressed. I have done blood tests and my GYN said to take eltroxin for me thyroid is underactive. Three weeks later AF showed up early, in floods and painful (cycles are normally 28 days and very regular)Immediately I consulted Physician who said it was probably becoz of the medication and took bloods, 3 days he later he suggested I stop taking eltroxin becoz my thyroid is normal to overactive.

I am seeing specialist on Frid 8th for third opinion and hopefully some clarity. Please advise.

I think that is a great idea to compile a list of questions for the doctor. Hopefully he will be able to answer your questions. Welcome to the site!

Yes it would be good to have an abbreviations list. DH is for Dear Husband and I think I read once that DD is Dear Daughter.

I'm fairly new here, too. That was also my question. I think I'll send that as a suggestion to the board moderator. They should have a page that shows what abbreviations mean. I still don't know what AF means. DH= dear husband. DD= dear daughter. RE= Reproductive Endocrinologist. 2WW= 2 Week Wait. That's all I can think of right now. Welcome to the boards! :)
