I know exactly what you are saying. I had two embryos transferred on November 10th. I have severe bloating and extemely tender breasts. I should know better. My daughter just turned 3 on Nov 3 from IVF. I feel like I should remember everything I went through and I remember nothing. I also thought this IVF would be less stress and easier etc b/c I already have a child, but it isn't. This two week wait is absolutely killing me. I found this site just today looking for some difinitive answer that I am pregnant. I get my test on Monday, the 20th. My progesterone was good yesterday. I take the suppositories twice a day. |

Hi Dani and Jamiez I had my transfer also on the 9th....my test is Monday and I don't feel a thing...in fact I almost feel like my period is coming but I read some other posts that say that is normal so I'm still hoping....my first time I definitely had bloating....sorry not alot of help but I just wanted to jump in since we all find out next week. Good luck to both of you! |

i'm feeling better now. i spoke to my doctor and you can take senakote. It is a natural laxative and stool softner. It really helps. Such a personal discussion, but going through this takes all the personal out of everything. Anyway, try senakote, it definately helps and since it is all natural, it will not hurt anything. I wish you luck and hope you fell better soon. |

I had my IUI on Monday and I am so bloated today that I couldn't even fit in my pants!!! :o It has only been a few days so I might be imagining things...I can't ever remember being this fat! Something has to be happening because I looked different than last week :) |

Maggie - I experienced terrible bloating after my second ivf transfer...I actually started bloating while taking the medications before the transfer...They say it a lot of it fluid retention from thr fertility medications...Hang in there you may get even more bloated if your test comes back positive because I was told that HCG causes bloating and fluid retention |
