Hi all -

I had my transfer on 10/11 and my beta is on the 22nd. Reading all your stories and symptoms has really been a help. This is my first time on a message board & I am really glad that I took the time to read.

Last night I started cramping badly and alittle this morning. No spotting but my boobs are so sore. I am glad that this seems normal.

These 2 weeks are going to be the longest of my life! Can someone tell me what the "good" number is for the beta test?

Thanks again, Meg

Many congratulations to you and DH. I have been on pins and needles waiting for your post. YOu have really good starting numbers. Mine started at 336. SO we are very close in numbers. Again congratulations on your BFP!!!!!

I don't know why that frown went into my posting...that was wierd!!!

Sorry... Let me change that to: :) :) :) :) :) :) :) :)

Hi Meg:

You are right on track with your symptoms..My 3rd and 4th day were the absolute worst and most painful. Hang in there. I know this 2ww stuff really stinks but stay on the forum and talking to us, it really helped me to have Lisa and Jenny to stay in touch with on here. We will be sending Baby Dust your way!!!

I got my BFP (Big Fat Positive)last wednesday and Lisa got hers today.... we are all going in the right direction!

Tell us about your transfer.... how many eggs did they get? fertilize and transfer? I hope I am not to nosy...Just love to chat!

Michelle :)

Meggemd - October 16th, 2007 9:08 PM

Thanks for responding Michelle - I am in early menopause - i am 37! So my ivf tries have not worked in the past. I did not even respond to the meds. So my DH and I did a donar egg. We got 17 eggs and 7 fretilized. They transfered 2 - none made it to freezing so this is our only shot unless we win the lotto.

I am trying to stay positive and reading that you had a BFP has inspried me.

I also have been having really strange dreams - is that a side effect of the meds - it has only happened receintly and my meds have not changed a great deal.

Take care and keep me posted.

Meg

JENNY22074 - October 16th, 2007 10:39 PM

Hey Lisa - they never gave me my progesterone levels so I assume that they were just fine. Are you on any type of progesterone supplements either by injection or suppository? I was doing 4 200mg suppositories a day every 6 hours. They took me off of them when I was 9 weeks along and the placenta had taken over the hormonal production. Sorry I can't help you out in that category. I am sure if there was a concern on the levels they would have said something. You may want to ask some of the other girls maybe in the forum title pregnancy after infertility. They may be able to help you out more. Again congratulations on your BFP. I know how relieved you feel. NOw starts the fun part of waiting to see the heartbeat and all. THat seems longer then the 2 week wait. Sending you and the little one much love and support.

Hi Meg -

My beta is also on the 22nd! My transfer was on the 10th. It was our first IVF attempt.

I don't know what a god number is...I'm just hoping for a positive!
