Welcome and good luck on your test tomorrow,let us know.I've had this symptoms(shortness of breath was the 1st one) and got BFP.If you'll get BFP,look forward to a every evening dates with your husband and a progesteron shots (he'll be the one probably giving them to you).Usually,if everything ok,we have to do them at least untill 9 weeks.

Hi Marina,
Thanks for the info. Actually I am only taking progesteron capsules four per day. We tested last week and the lavel was good at that time. Do they start the progesterone shorts once they get the positive pregnancy test result ?

Also From the day of egg retrival I am feeling bloted and my stomach has been swollen little bit. My doctor has not reccomended me to take any protein. According to your answer to Lucky 60 gms of protein might help me right ?

Can anyone tell me how the ovarian stimulation symptomps will be. I am thinking I might have that as my stomach is sill swollen from the day of egg retrival.

I think feeling bloted and gasy-it's normal after retrival,I did for about a week after,than it got better.
Yes,they insisted on taking protein.They were worry in my case because I produced so many eggs(about 40) ,but I was drinking protein shake 2 times a day,nothing happened to me.
The symptoms of hypostimulation is pain in your ovaries,difficalty breathing,liquid colecting in your abdomen,fever,vomiting.If they are mild,they do nothing,if you can't breathe-call your doctor.
Don't worry,it's rare when it's realy serious.

Thanks a lot for your description. Wow 40 eggs. Thats a lot. How many of them came to the blastocyte stage. If it's not personal can I ask you how many embryo did you transfer. And now is which week of your pregnancy. I am 33 year old and we transfer two embryos. As I am very skinny (96 pound) I am worried how my body will behave.

About the progesterone injection can you please tell me when they start the shorts, as I am taking the capsules only.

My egg retrival was on 11/29. Still I feel little bloated. The breathing problem is not continuous. Its coming and going. I bought protein powder today. I will start drinking today onwards.

well,it's funny,I produced so many eggs good quality,I could share with everyone who need them for free(lol).
We had 25 of them fertilazed,14 made it to blast,but we transfered only one and frozed the rest,because I was terrified of having twins(i'm petiite too,105 lb and 5'2),plus I have 12 years old son,so I didn't want to risk and be happy to have only one more.
They put me right away on prog.shots,I didn't take it in a pill form.May be they will continie pill progesteron with you ,I don't know.For some reason my RE belives that injectible is the way to go.I wish I was taking pill...It's not fun to have them in your butt every day,I'm not a big person and sonn will run out of room on my tush(lol).I'm 6weeks5days prego.

One good news. My pregnancy test came to be positive. I am just scared as I have put two embryos. God knows what will happen. My Doctor said I won't know if its a twin until the 6th week of my pregnancy. Is that correct.

Do you know any one who has put two embryos and successfully deliver.

it's true,you can't find out earlier than your 1st U/S-usually 14 days after your 1sf blood test.Did they tell you your numbers ?or you did home PT?Some times if the first beta comes back high,it could be twins.Many times one continue to grow and one stop.It all depends on embrio quality - chromosomes and genetics...

No they have not schedule my first U/S yet. I have an appt. with my doctor after two days. May be they are doing the blood test again.

Hi Marina,
My progesterone lavel is > 20. and Beta is 172. I think its too low after reading so many comments in this website. People usually have greater than or close to 300 beta value right ? Please wish me luck so that we will be successful in this journey

honey,you have nothing to worry about!(well,there is always something to worry)Your 1st beta perfectly fine!You probably didnt read my previous posts,how I got thru all this beta horror.My 1st was 21(talk about low!),I was in tears,95% sure it didnt work,found tonns of info on betas(by the way,the "normal range" is very wide-from5 to500).My 2nd was66 and 2 days later 272 and than 1519.So,the important thing is how it grow-it a good sign if your beta at least doubles every 48 hours.Of course,nobody can garantie,we never in a safe zone,but right now you have nothing to worry about!

One more thing I wanted to know is how do you calculate your pregnancy.

As my egg retival was on 11/29, they transfer the embryo on 5th day (12/4). can I say I am two weeks (14 days) pregnant or two weeks 5 days prego.

I would wait till re apt their caculations are weird in my oppinion. I did iui and i know the day i conceieved and the day of my last period however i have no clue how they came up with my due date. I think it should be 5 days sooner and now im wondering if thats why i feel further along.
