Hi again,

Does anyone know how long I should wait before doing a HPT after Ovidrel? My RE said to wait 2 weeks to avoid a false positive but I read online it only takes 10 days for the Ovidrel to get out of your system. So I caved and bought a HPT today and it was negative. The Ovidrel is obviously gone, but have I waited long enough for the test to be positive if I am pregnant? Here are my stats:
2/21 - CD1
2/22-2/26 - Femara
2/25-2/29 - Follistim
3/1 - Ovidrel (CD 10)
So I am 10 days post Ovidrel and 8.5 days post ovulation if the OPK was accurate. I am on CD20 right now. Could I be testing too early? Or am I being just TOO friggin' optimistic?

I think you are probably testing a bit early - wait another few days and test again. I think 12 days post ovulation is more realistic - 8.5 days is probably too early.
