Hello, I had a postive blood test (87) yesterday! (after IVF) I was shocked, I was so scared it wouldn't happen. Although the nurse was cautious - chemical preg blah blah blah, I was thrilled, 4 years of this roller coaster and finally, good news! Then hours later, I noticed slight, faint pink spotting. I am terrified. I can't believe that I would get a positive and then maybe lose it all. Has anyone else had this happen? I was thinking it could be that maybe one of the embryos isn't making it? But the other one could be ok right? I have a second blood test on Saturday. Hopefully that will be reassuring.

Jeniak, I have no answers for you but want to say that I care and I certainly wish you well. I hope to hear great news after Saturday - please be sure to post an update! Karen

Lots of women spot in early pregnancy. Are you cramping? It's important to remember that not all spotting means m/c. Perhaps your progesterone is a little low. Take care, drink lots of water and let us know what the b/w on Sat. shows.

Jeninak,

Both times I have been pregnant I have had spotting. As Merideth said, as long as you are not getting any cramping you should be fine. Relax and take it easy and let us know how you go Saturday.
