Hi everyone,

I'm obsessing, this was my 3rd IVF and actually got a positive, 16dpt my beta was 291 and I have been taking my temperature regularly and in the afternoons it's usually 99 but can be 99.1- 99.5
What's the deal? Are we supposed to have higher temp's? I'm afraid my body may be attacking my embryo and that's why temp is higher.
Please answer if you know what's going on.

Thank you so much.
Patsy

Medically I'm not sure. But I hope your temps higher because your body is working hard to create the embryo. congrats and good luck. Here's a prayer for you!!

I had always heard that if your temp remains elevated then it's all good. I think that's what I remember from "Taking Charge of Your Fertility".

Seems like all the signs are pointing to + !!!

Keep us posted!!

The temperature is fine. It would take a temp of 101 or 102 to maybe hurt the baby. Call your doc if you are worried. Take care girl. This whole thing will make you batty.

I am not familiar w/ what the temperatures mean. I just posted that I think I am pregnant. This morning I took my temperature (felt feverish) and it was 99. I normally have a lower than avg (98.6) temp. Does that mean anything? ???

I have read that your temp is higher when you are pregnant (at least in the beginning)... so that sounds good. :-)
