Well again I have been out of the loop so much has been going on.. The good news is our baby boy Giovanni Daniel was born on June 28th 7lbs 8 oz
We couldnt be happier.. We waited for this day for what seemed like forever. It is a true blessing!!
We also had a tragic loss the day the baby and I came home from the hospital my step dad had a massive heart attack and passed away a couple days later so we had some difficult times as well as happy times. One thing that helped me through this difficult time was that my Step Dad got to see Giovanni while we were in the hospital (he was so excited over him and we got some wonderful pictures of them together.
I miss all of you and feel bad I've been away from the site for so long..

Cograts tickingclock - I am so happy for you. Sorry about the death in the family though. Too much stress at once. Our little guys are so close in age. How fun. Cody is smiling at us now and is growing like a weed. 12 pounds now. I can hardly believe it. My post partum is getting better so that is a relief.

Congrats Gina.. that is such great news!!!! But so sorry to hear of your loss... but I am so happy to hear that your step dad was able to see Giovanibefore his passing.. so tragic..

Cody and Giovanni are close in age and in pounds he is about 11 1/2 lbs now and getting really chubby its amazing how much they change already from birth. Its all so great loving everyday with him.

We are lucky and I count my blessings everyday and will never forget my fertility journey (its all worth the wait)

Tickingclock, so happy for you!!!! Sorry to hear about the death of your step dad. I guess your son helped you with your grief.
I have been out of the loop for quite a while, but my little 10 month old Julia is keeping me busy and laughing every day! We are planning her first birthday party for October. Time went by so fast, but such happy time. She is doing well, eating well, sleeping....it depends ....! She is crawling everywhere, climbing the steps, and stands on her own. She is ready to walk any time now!

I haven't forgotten my journey with all of you. Without the support of the group, it would have been much harder. Julia is my sunshine, I still can't believe she is here and growing.
