Hi Dr Jacobs I have a question. At the clinic that I go to, My RE counts the first Day of a woman's period is when it starts in the morning. . If it starts after 12:00 noon than you don't count that as the first day of a woman's period.I was Looking on the computer and another infertility Doctor said You count the first day of a woman's period when she has to ware a full pad because she is having a full flow of Blood not spotting. Sometimes I spot 2 days before I go into a full Flow of Blood. So when does a woman count the first day of her period? Thank You.

WE ignor the spotting that many women have before actual flow. We consider day 1 as first day of flow.
Good luck.
