I was just curious if you tell your patients this to make them aware so they bring it to their OB's attention or if this is something, in your opinion, largely ignored by REs and OBs? Vasa previa occurs in something like 1 in 3,000 natural pregnancies, but there is a 10-fold increase to 1 in 300 for IVF pregnancies. Do you think it's important for everyone who gets pg via IVF to be screened for this?
Thank so much!
Jody

Since I have not seen corroborating data to support the contention you cited, I cannot make a comment. So far, I have seen no such reporting in the SART data base.
