Dear Dr. Jacobs;

Everything is going great. i know you want projesterone at 20. Mine is at 16.2 at 6 weeks. I had an ultrasound yesterday everything was great. my levels went from 4400 from Monday to 9600 on thursday. i was on 2 200mg prometrium and 2 crinone suppositorries. I asked the nurse should i be concerned about not being above 20 and she said no she actually took me off the prometrium and told me my projesterone is probably higher from the cream i have used for 3 weeks.
What do you think? Should I continue taking the prometrium

Your progesterone supplementattion needs to be determined by your own physician. Actually, at about 8 to 10 weeeks of pregnancy, your palcenta should be making more progesterone than you can take.
