Dear Dr. Jacobs;

I received a positive pregnancy test today at fci and I have a question. My beta was at 352. and my pogesterone was at 7.5 they want it at 8. Is 7.5 dangerous.
I am on endometrin 3 times a day; they have now put me on 1 prometrium at night; Does that sound like a good mix? what is your opinion?
Thank you

all my best;
lisa ;D

Both of th eproducts are progesterone. The vaginal preparation does not produce much of a blood level, but does produce a good tissue level in the endometrium, where you want it.
Good luck.

a single hCG level does not provide adequate information. You want to see the level at least double in 48 hours. I like to see a serum progesteron at least 20 ng/ml.
Good luck.
