Hi Juliem. I know of one coworker who reduced and ended up losing both babies... It is such a tough decision and is so personal, however, what total number of children would you like in your family? If this is your first successful pregnancy, maybe consider letting it run its course? If I were you, I would research reductions and also have a serious heart to heart with my hubby and those close to me. Just for fun, check out a site or two that focus on multiples and read some of the responses of the moms who are living it. Three friends of mine have twins, plus one or two more children and as much as it has been hard at times, the blessings seem to out weigh the tough days.
Good luck with your decision process and let the final answers come from you and your husband and not a doctor (unless of course your health is at risk...or one of the babies). I think you' ll know what is the right move for you and your hubby! Judea

I am having a triplets and my doctor recommended a reduction procedure for the safer outcome of pregnancy. We are debating if we should reduce it to twins or just a singleton. How safe is this procedure for the remaining baby or babies? [/quote]
