Hello Doctor,

With regard to long down regulation cycle. Could you comment on taking the contraceptive pill for one week extra before beginning injections ? Would this have any impact on the cycle ?

If you are on birth control pills for at least 2 weeks prior to down regulatioin, within reason, the length of time you take the pills should not matter.
