I had IVF and should be 6 weeks pregnant today. My ultrasound today showed a sac measuring 5w 3d it seems to be a good bit behind. Could this be due to late implanting or is it more likely to be a blight ovum or perhaps there are other explanations for it. Also my hCG number is not great. It has been going up by about 80% every 48 hours but at 6 weeks it is only 2215.

What are your thought.

The measurements ar (+) or (-) 25 to 3 days. You are probably not off by a significant amount. Also, this early, measurement is not terribly precise. Another ultrasound in a week or 25 will reassure you if there is appropriate interval growth.
