In May of 2006 I went in for my first HSG and it showed that my right tube was open but there was only minimum spillage and no left appeared. After months of chlomid and one IUI my fertility specialist referred me to an RE. Two weeks ago Feb 2007 I went in for a second HSG and now this one showed both my tubes are blocked and have fluid. (The first one my left tube didnt even appear on the xray)

Is there any reason why I would get two very different results not even a year apart from each other? What causes fluid on the tubes??

I am sorry, but I cannot explain your apparent differences without a great deal of speculation. I always perform the HSG's on my patients.
Good luck.
