I have been spotting now for 15 months around day 22 of my period. Sometimes it lasts 1 day, other times 4 or more days.

Any idea what could be the underlying issue? I am pretty sure that this spotting has to do with my infertility.

Any specific tests that I should ask my doctor for? He seems to think that everything is fine??

(I have already had a pelvic ultrasound, HSG test, my FSH and thyroid levels have been tested also and all have come back fine.)

Pre-menstrual spotting is very common. Sometimes it is caused by a polyp in the uterine cavity.
