Hello DR Jacobs.I take 2cc of progesterone oil shots on the second half of my cycle. My period doesn't start for 12 to 13 days after stopping the progesterone shots.Does this seem normal to you that it takes that Long for my period to start? I always freak out thinking my period isn't going to start.Than I get worried if it doesn't start than Won't be able to do another cycle with my RE to try to get pregnant again.Is it stress that is delaying my period or just that I am taking a higher dose of progesterone oil and it's taking Longer to clear from my body to start a period.

I do nbo tknow the concentration of the progesterone in the oil you are using. I have my patients take 1 cc of 50 mg/cc. I do ot know how much you are taking. If you are taking a significantly higher dose than 50 mg per day, it will take longer for it to leave your body.
