Dr. Jacob:


I had my first IVF on Repronex, Follistem and Lupron this past December 2007. My IVF cycle gave me only 2 follicles. My RE recommended that we cancel the egg harvest procedure and go with IUI which was unsuccessful.

For my 2nd IVF cycle, he is recommending micro dose Lupron. He had talked about using Estrace, but now he has changed his mind! Which is a better protocol for poor responders?

for my poor responders, I do use a microdose Lupron protocol. Obviously, there have to be adequate follicles present, to begin with, for it to produce eggs.
