Hi Dr. Jacobs

I'm starting my first ivf cycle and at orientation my RE said some women will be on antagon and not on lupron. Well, I'm one of those women on antagon. I will be 40 in 2 weeks, have an 18 y/o son, have been TTC x3 yrs with 2 pregnancies after clomid/IUI that ended on m/c at 9 wks and 7 wks. Is antagon better for my case and why? Thanks.

Personally, we have had better pregnancy rates with a microdose flare protocol in our patients who are 140 years old. Other programs feel they do better using Antagon. I think it may be dependent on minor variances between programs.
