Hello Doctor
I am 9 weeks 3 days pregnant thro my first ivf. This is my second pregnancy.all my harmones levels are normal, had my scanning last week , everything was normal but I started to have itching skin in my palms, foot , thighs for the past 2 days, someplaces it looks like bug bites..i am applying moisutrizer everyday..what would be the reason for this? i ahve appt with my doctor on march 29th only..is this something very serious to inform my doctor immediately?

I read in internet that itching is caused by some liver misfunction ,too much of salt in blood....Is this something serious? will this affects my baby? i called my doc office they told me to try benadrly or cartisone for week ..if the itching persist then go to dermatologist.I am sort of worried bcos of this. Awaiting reply

If you were very jaundiced, a liver condition might be explained by liver disease. I doubt you have too much salt as the cause. I think you need for your doctor to evaluate you, or see a dermatologist.
