Hi Dr. Jacobs

I just had my transfer yesterday. One blastocyst made it from a fresh cycle.

They drew a Prog and E2 level yesterday and called me later that afternoon concerned.

My E2 the day after HCG was at 2400. At 5 day transfer the result was 35.

They didnt have me start any vivel patches until after the transfer.

The doctor on call wanted to wait and see in a couple of days and have it redrawn.

Have you ever seen a E2 fall so quickly?
If so, do people with this same problem not get pregnant?

I have been pregnant two times with my husband. both had some type of chromosome abnormality. 1st a 13qtr33 deletion and the second trisomy 16. i just turned 38 the day after my retrevial

At the time of egg retrieval, a lot of the cells which make estrogen and progesterone come out with the eggs. I routinely start my patients on both estrogen and progesterone sullpement the morning after retreival.
Good luck.
