hi everyone, i am 27 years old and I have had over 14 m/c. I have seen over 7 specialists and I finally went to Shady Grove Fertilty in my state. I was told I have MTFHR and low protein S. I have been taking 5 folic acids, 1 B6, 1 B12, and my prenatal vitamin for about a month now. I found out on 9/17 that I am now pregnant. My OB put me on 60mg of Lovenox and 100mg of prometrium. Last night I took my first shot in the buttocks and it only hurt after it was done. I didnt get any brusing and I was so glad of that. I have never made it past 10 weeks and my doctor said they would stitch my cervix once i reach 10-12 weeks just as a precaution. Hope my information has helped someone and I have done so much research myself so I will be glad to answer any questions =) |

I don't why it wasn't done by the other doctors. I guess it took me to go to a fertility specialist and not just a regular OB/GYN to get the entire panel of bloodwork done. They took 35 tubes of blood from me but finally getting an answer was worth it all. I read that some of this testing has just been found in the late 1990's, so maybe that is why. |

glow_virgo. I know I went through the same testing after my second miscarriage. it does go by weight....have you been to a hematologist? my hematologist said that once I would get pregnant I would be on 40 mg of lovenox. I am sure they know best. How far along are you now? |

No problem. Many women have had successful pregnancies on lovenox. I wish you the best of luck. I am leaving on vacation for 2 weeks will check in on the site when I return. wish me luck we have been trying for 8 months after 2nd miscarriage and still nothing. |

I wish you a safe trip and a little advice that worked for a friend......get away from the stress of baby making and your current surroundings. Without the pressure of it all you'll be seeing that positive pregnancy tests REAL SOON :o :) |

HELLO eveyone. I recenlty got over a misscarriage after trying for 1 year. te doctors relaized that I have protein S deficency. I was told both by my obgyn and hematologist that the minute I find out I am pregnant again I need to take lovenox 40mg once a day. I am currently taking baby asprin as well and folgard and prenatal vitamins. So I have some questions. Has anyone ever went on a plane while pregnant taking these injections. I sit safe for you and the baby. Both the doctors said I could fly but im still very nervous. Did anyone ever have this same situation? |

glow_virgo~ it is based on weight, my doctor said that if you weigh over 240lbs the you need two injections, now i dont know if that two 40mgs or what but apprently the shots only go up to a certain dosage and then you need to start 2 if you are overweight. i weighed 262lbs and ive lost 65lbs and am still losing weight in order to be knocked down to the lowest dosage, which is 40 mg. i figure the less of it in my system the better, its still a drug and although itll help me carry to term i still dont like the idea of it in me or my child, but we have to do what we have to do. |

Alma011, I'm definitely considered to be high risk, and I was told by a doctor that I couldnt take a plane ride while in my first and last rimester. In this situation I would go with my gutt if I were you. |

glow_virgo~ im glad the shots werent as horrid as you though they were going to be, im kinda scared for what their going to feel like myself. we weigh the same! i wonder if ill be on 60mg....... why? cause i just realized im 1 week late, were not ttc, we use condoms everytime so im kinda freaking out right now, we wanted to ttc next spring as im still working on my weight and health. i know itll be a blessing if i am but im alos scared of losing another baby, illl keep you guys posted. *sigh* |

Well I just got a call from my specialists office that my Beta is only 13.9. It should be in the 100 to 200's so thats not good at all. I'm takin another test on Monday to see if its going up or down. I'm going to be doing some extra praying thinking that I am just REAL REAL early!! I will keep you posted next week have a blessed weekend =) |
