Hello all, this is my first time using the forum and I feel a little lost so can any one shed some light. I just turned 39 and have just completed 1 IVF cycle here in Canada. I responded slowly to Menopur but progressed well after doubling the dose. We retreived 10 eggs, 5 fertilized but they did not divide again. After 12 hours the cells just broke down. My fertility clinic had never experienced this in 20 years and quickly checked their Lab protocols. It was not the labs error. All the answers we received were that there must be a problem with my eggs. Fair enough! But has anyone else experienced this and if so have they overcome it with a protocol using something other than Menopur?

Thank you for the guidance.
