I'm new here. I stubbled across this website when I was trying to research some stuff on-line. I LOVE IT!!
I am 30, diagnosed with Antithrombin III deficiency. I nearly died with a DVT and PE in Jan. 2004, so I'm on Coumadin for life (until there is a better drug).
Anyway, my husband and I are getting ready to venture into the pregnancy stuff. I've started prenatal vitamins and I have my appointment set up for later this summer to transition to shots so we can try to get pregnant. I've started thinking about the financial impact of trying to get pregnant and I'm wondering if some of you would share what you pay for Lovenox?
My doctor told me that you can get Lovenox in "bulk". It seems that many here on the message boards have had experience with it. I know everyone's situation and insurance is different, but I would love to hear what people are paying (or co-paying) for their Lovenox injections.
I'm so happy to have found this forum. Sometimes I feel like so few people know about clotting disorders and the issues involved with getting pregnant that we are "alone" in this. I know we aren't and reading all the messages today has encouraged me. I'm so excited to venture into this next chapter of our lives!
