Hello. I just had one 3-day embryo transferred today. My husband has obstructive azoospermia (missing vas deferens) and had frozen sperm from a TESE that was supposedly of good quality. Because we had male factor, I'm 30, and my FSH was 5, the RE started me at 200 units of Follistim daily. I had very little response; by the end of the cycle I was up to 450 of Follistim and 150 of Repronex, but I still only had 4 decent follicles. We ended up getting 6 eggs but only 2 fertilized, both made it to day 2 but only 1 made it to today. I guess it was an 8 cell, perfect embryo. I don't have endometriosis or any problems; I am just wondering what you think the success rate would be since we only transferred one. Also, what do you think is the probability that I will respond better with more meds up front next time? Thank you.
